One of the most exciting fighters around. I think a lot of people are underrating Teixeira for this fight but Prochazka is a scary dude on the feet

@@chrisbeebe7596 been thinking that too. Him by sub or decision if he manages to implement the wrestling/grappling. Can’t say I know of a time where Prochazka has been tested in the wrestling too so it’s definitely one to look out for
Jiri has elite take down defense and he is too explosive and strong for Glover. The fight will end by a flying Jiri knee during a glover take down attempt.

One of the most fun fighters in the whole UFC. He's had 2 bouts and they've both been KOTY candidates. Idk if he beats Glover, but he's def one of my favorites either way.

@@Medellin4497 Ankalaev is a technical and cautious striker and he's very good at that style but I don't see him as a major threat for Jiri, IMO he's not threatening enough and won't be able to handle the pressure.
I think someone with a more dangerous ground game and/or more one-hit KO power would fare better. Glover actually fits that bill. We'll see if Glover will manage to weather the storm.

i REALLY respect how he pulls aways once he realizes his opponent is done - he could've landed an extra on Volkan and Dominic and just decided not to - class act.

The first time i saw him fight I was a fan. Then understanding how he trains his mind I was hooked. I hope the best for him, he has a strong future in the UFC
Just hearing that UFC called up Prochazka, Man 'o War while he was in Rizin. He turned the offer down. This man has a plan for himself and it is refreshing to hear. For him it isn't all about money or being famous.What a new concept for a fighter these days.
The thing I love and respect about prochazka is that he seems to enjoy crippling his opponent in a slow and methodical way. Almost like he represents the essence of any true fighter once its game on but he controls exactly when the fight ends. This is clearly portrayed in his oezdmir fight where he wobbled his opponent with a high left kick and could have crippled him there but chose to bait him in further before turning his lights off. You see the same thing in the glover fight. It's almost like prochazka wanted to feel all of glover strength and power before squeezing his lights out. Animal in the cage, gentleman off. Bushido survives.
Jiri is the perfect catalyst to reignite the fire in the LHW division for the UFC.🔥

@@danborg9860 bro I don’t agree at all, I think jiri is very intelligent and I’m a huge fan that listens to all of his interviews. In his interview with mark raimondi that just came out he takes like 15 seconds pauses at times to articulate what he’s thinking, I think it’s pretty fair to say he’s not that familiar with the language. Like I’m sure he’s considerably quicker and better at describing things in his native tongue, it’s not an insult I love jiri and as an American I think it’s very impressive that he can speak multiple languages at all, I definitely cant

Is it a copyright or quality thing why you can't show his other wins in other orgs? He has wins over current PFL heavyweight champ Bruno Cappelozza and over current Bellator lhw champ Vadim Nemkov. Jiri already has such a great track record, his legacy will be something else once he's done

It would be foolish to count out the old man that is Glover Teixeira with statements like that. Peeps were calling Petr Yan the new Bantamweight GOAT, they are silent now.
Never count Glover out. Jiri's ground game might be improved but if it goes to the ground it's game over. Glover has the best top game and subs in the game today. He can also endure surprising amounts of punishment (look at his last couple fights, always the same pattern - getting hit hard and often, coming back to win). On top of that Jiri's carelessness and fondness of kick and spinning techniques might leave him open for a takedown. On the other hand, Prochazka hits like a fucking truck, is younger, more athletic and faced a lot of good competition, he's not some newcomer without experience. Will be a good scrap regardless.

Jiri’s striking is abysmal and I have no clue how no one has caught him flush on the button just yet. Strong chin only lasts so long. Pereira’s chin is weaker but his striking is one of the best. Will be an interesting matchup.

It’s crazy that Jiri fought one of the best in the division and a former title challenger in his debut. Second fight he’s already main eventing a fight night against one of the top guys and recent title challenger. Third fight is for the belt. If he wins the belt, it’ll be such a quick rise to the top.
You’re right, but Jiri was a great champion of many organisations such as Rizin. Also he denied going into ufc a few years ago, for the purpose of getting stronger and beeing better. Rn he’s title machine prepared to win the fight
