In this video, we explore powerful techniques to overcome limiting beliefs and boost your self-confidence.
We kick off by discussing the importance of looking at the evidence. Lionel Messi, for instance, watches his own highlights to remind himself of his capabilities. By showing your brain evidence that disproves your limiting beliefs, you can silence those negative thoughts and unlock your true potential.
Another technique we explore is speaking in the third person. Inspired by WWE superstar The Rock, we learn how self-distancing can provide a more objective perspective. By treating yourself as a friend and encouraging yourself through positive self-talk, you can overcome self-doubt and boost your confidence.
But what if those limiting beliefs persist? We dive into the power of "If, then" thoughts. By flipping your negative beliefs and creating actionable plans, you can set yourself on a path to success. Discover how to break free from self-imposed limitations and unlock unlimited beliefs.

If you follow David Goggins, he talks about the cookie jar narrative. In good or mostly bad times, you go back to your memory and pull out your best accomplishments to remind your brain your capable of what you are handling.
Thanks for sharing and reminding me! Read his first book a few years ago and forgot about that 👍
I play soccer, I score alot during my practices but when I get into a game I like freeze in front of the net I miss my opportunity that I would score in practice. What can I do ?
It's common to experience this shift in performance between practices and actual games because of the change in pressure. You could try the following -
1. Mental Preparation: Recognise that the mental aspect of the game is just as important as the physical skills. Visualise yourself successfully scoring in a game, imagine the scenarios you often face, and visualize yourself confidently executing your shots.
2. Simulate Game-Like Scenarios: Incorporate game-like situations in your practice sessions. Create drills that mimic the pressure and intensity of real games. E.g. practice shooting with defenders applying pressure, so you become more comfortable with these scenarios.
