My Pop-Pop passed in 2012 & I had the opportunity to clear out his computer. I opened his music library & this song played 😭🔥🎧💐
There isn’t a bad Bob Marley song. Just put all of his stuff in your daily listen.
Especially live versions .. mind blowing
Fact
I'm 53 from Germany and I can't tell you how much I love your reactions...Bob Marley was revolution in my head and I still love him today, kisses from Germany
This is among the most underrated songs by any significant artist. It isn't one of his biggest hits, but for me it's his very best song. And he had a lot of great songs.
My favorite, for sure!
Agreed!
The lyrics the lyrics
Listening to Bob Marley with some great pot is better than having a drink.
Oh bob it don't matter whether u r black or white his music is wow as Bob's father was a white English man so he relate to all colours he was just a goat ❤
R.I.P. Robert Nesta (Tuff Gong) Marley..Thanks For ALL You Gave Us..Gone But Definitely Not Forgotten..One Love For True..Rastafari ❤
Asia & BJ, you’ll love his "Could You Be Loved", “Buffalo Soldier” and “Three Little Birds” and many more!!!!
His greatest hits collection 'Legend' is a cherished part of my record collection!!
For me possibly one of the best ever Bob Marley songs a masterpiece without a doubt.
The one and only Bob Marley ❤️
I highly recommend visiting Jamaica, and do not miss doing the excursion to Bob Marley's home! I've traveled all over the Caribbean, and hands down the BEST touristy thing I've ever done was going to see house and property. It was almost spiritual!!
Probably my favorite Bob song. What a treasure the guy was. When you talk about any of the influential greats he is right there amongst them. Anything off "Legend" is great...
My favorite too! The Annie Lennox cover is pretty good too.
Our son used to sit in the bath when he was a baby and as soon as Bob came on, he would start smiling and nod his head to it. He's way too cool to do it now, but something in Bob's vibe just makes your head nod and brings a smile to your face. 😍
Thanks for checking that one out. Bob Marley has a wonderful catalog, but I consider "Waiting in Vain" to be an underrated classic if there is such a thing as underrated Bob Marley.
sweet God in Heaven! this song means everything to me!
Huge in Britain in the 70’s.
Saw him at Hammersmith odeon in 76? 77? Can’t remember but his songs are iconic.
I’m just sparking up a joint after hearing that!
Cheers.
Damn you guys are totally cracking me up. That is hilarious. But yeah man I've been a huge Bob Marley fan since high school and I've got all his albums. It's fascinating to see how much he in the Wailers evolved over the years. Every album is different than the one before and yet it's always unmistakably Bob Marley. I absolutely love his phrasing but I love everybody in the band too, they were so tight.
From the 1977 Album “Exodus”.
You can NEVER go Wrong with “Bob Marley and The Wailer’s”. Rastafari!
#RootsRockReggae
I wasn't even a Twinkie in father's eye when this song came out...❤❤❤❤Song was before it's time...🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
I so love this song. Thanks for bringing some sunshine to a cold hard winter.
Love love saw Bob 2 times in 1976 I was 17..wonderful
The story goes, he wrote this song (and supposedly also his song Turn Your Lights Down Low) for Cindy Breakspeare (Miss World 1976) whom Bob had been trying to win over for 3 years (while still married to his wife Rita) before she finally became his mistress - and subsequently became the mother of their son, Damian.
Wow. Thanks for the info.
I sat on the bed, in the house where Bob Marley wrote this song. One of the greatest memories I have❤️
I got turned onto Bob Marley while I was in high school around 1977. None of my other friends listened to this kind of stuff. It made me all the sadder when Bob passed away in 1981. listening to his stuff brings back good memories.
Marley’s best song IMO!! Tears in my eyes burn ❤️
Reminds me when I first heard Genesis of Love
King Bob Marley, my favourite answer of all time! Great reaction
I remember listening to this when I was in High School in the 80's. I was (and still am) a Metal Head, but we all knew these songs too!
Marley Speaks. Happy to see you guys Discover Greatness. KeepOnKeeping.
What a Man of the people, yea mahn....and he lived as he preached...he came to town in `75 and I tagged along with my brothers hippie crowd...I found out the truth of the ganja that sets your mind & soul in the right direction, mahn...all praise to Haalye Salasie for giving us Bob`s & his words of truth that " you never know how strong you are until being strong is the only thing you have left"...all praise to you for playing me some Bob again, mahn
Bob Marley was loved in New Zealand..still is❤
This is iconic ❤

Love Bob Marley, I always listen to him when I go running 🤣 always a good smooth rhythm and it takes away the pain of running 🤣
Been my favourite song of al time since i was a kid, got me through homelessness, death, everything. Something so hopeful in that solo.
Love anything by Bob!
Love all great Jamaican musics..
Maybe someday give Gregory Issacs “Soon Forward” a try..?
Maybe Desmond Dekker “The Israelites”..
Or for some really old school sounds, maybe check out Niney The Observer “Blood and Fire”, or The Ethiopians “Free Man”.

Toots & The Maytals "Pressure Drop"
Third World "Now That We Found Love" & "Sense Of Purpose"
Steel Pulse "Throne Of Gold"
Didn’t really get into Bob Marley until my mid 20s. Decades after his heyday. This is the song that drew me in. Thx for reacting. Think we’ve all been there. Waiting in vain. Haha
my favorite Bob song, also like IS THIS LOVE and CONCRETE JUNGLE.
Aw man. Doing the cool tunes tonight. So many nice memories associated with this song, this man.
Could You Be Loved is a must!
can't help but tear up from hearing Peter Tosh at work on the riff
Named After His Father Who Would Pass Away When He Was Only 2 Years Old..Bob Would Be So Proud. Damian Marley "Stand A Chance" & "All Night" (Featuring Stephen Marley)
Reggae goes with the Heartbeat, which makes folks wanna dance, that's one reason I listen to Bob while doing chores.👊😂
Im very glad to hear you exploring reggae. There is such a diverse catalogue, from the 60's (Al Capone - Prince Buster) to the 80's (Ruder Than You - The Bodysnatchers) Then in 90's.(Hepcat -Dance 'wid Me) Newer bands like "10ft Ganja Plant" are still making reggae music today
Bob Marley died on May 11, 1981 on I was 4 months old and on my parents 18th wedding anniversary. Proud Jamaican right here, big up yuhself!
Bob Marley o rei do reggae eterno
Right
One of the loveliness love songs ever written
When I was 17, we traveled with three friends from Barcelona to Ibiza, with the ferry, we had two Vespa scooters to move around the island. In those days Marley was the top, there were no walkmans and today's technology but in all the beach bars and terraces Marley flooded him with his reage hits. Is this love, redemption song, waiting in vain, no woman no cry. All mixed with the last traces of hippies made for a vacation to remember for a lifetime.
Listening to Marley everything lights up and the sun shines brighter.
Great choose ❤
Literally like 3 of my top 5 guitar solos are from Peter Tosh with bob marley. This is one of them
I wish you would listen to his song, Three Little Birds. It's awesome. Thank you Mickey G for this song. Awesome reaction as usual. Love this fam and the variety of music everyone brings.

In any worst times in your life you need to listen to Bob Marley.
Back in the 90's my mom and I on Friday nights would go to Los Patios restaurant in San Antonio Texas to listen to the Trinidad Pan Master who played all of Bob Marley's greatest hits. Love him so much, gone too soon.

Buffalo Soldier is a great song you would like
I can't tell you how much I love Marley. It's a profound love. After rock concerts, usually Phish, when I was young, we would go back to the parking lot and listen to a Marley bootleg cassette from a show in Germany in 1980. It was perfect on a sweaty, summer night around midnight. We would sit and listen and smoke cigarettes and wait for the traffic to thin out.
QUEENSRYCHE -Take Hold of the Flame
This the prettiest song ever
