Menstruation = clearing of doshas?
I'm convinced in india students study science to solely pass examinations and get into high paying jobs.
I just cracked after that line and can't believe a woman is saying that bullshit about periods 😭😭
Every country
Citizen for that
Bro woke up and chose to speak facts 🗣️
Duh
yes that is the case. Not only in India, but we do have a more exam and marks-centric system maybe compared to US.
When he said "all you need to sleep quicker is your right hand", i thought its was going somewhere R rated.
🤣🤣
😂😂
🤣😂😂
😂
HAHAHAH I INSTANTLY THOUGHT THAT TOO LMAO
Tried that left-nostril sleep trick. Felt like I was auditioning for a "Nose's Got Talent" show. Spoiler: My dreams gave it a thumbs-down.
I just watch pseudoscience podcast, it makes me sleep faster
🤣
Once someone told me for best breathing use one nostril to breathe in and the other for out. I remember thinking you think you are doing that 😂
Storytime:
Once i was discussing girls about periods and they told me 'Oh i have to stay out of the house!! My grandma never lets me ebter kichen! I never attain temple!!!'
I asked them wth, i was really new to this information, i told them "bro! never happened to me, wth, why don't you say against it"
And this girl was biting her nails all frustrated defending telling me that you "don't believe in god that much"
A Muslim girl and i asked her if you go in mosque and she said yeah but not after we start menstruation i never knew it and i confronted her like what the heck and her eyes were teary and all and she knew that it's quite wrong but she fears god, same with another hindu girl, same thing, she fears god.
This alone is enough to convince me how fool and ignorant people can be when it comes to religion and traditions. Especially women cuz duh patriarchy.
I totally agree with you. It is quite sad to see how pseudoscience/religion is brainwashing us... And of course 'Doshas' is involved.
Imagine believing in a god that's so insecure that he'll diss you for a natural process that happens regardless of your choice cause it's literally a design by nature.
I have also met these type of girls...🥲 girls are more superstitious than boys i think
I agree with all the points, but I don't think this is about patriarchy , women in the family teaching this shit, mothers teaching it to their daughters and so on
i think you got it wrong in Islam praying, fasting and being physical is not allowed during periods and main reason is the well-being and having enough rest. Women can enter mosque during periods. In Islam praying five times a day is compulsory. But a women is allowed to skip praying. It has nothing to do with she being impure or anything. Moreover Muslims in Indian subcontinent still practice local traditions but from Religious point of view it is not same as women not allowed to enter temples
Impure blood? It's the same blood that won't be shed if the egg is fertilized.

High level Reiki master= high level Fraud master....
Excellent job, Pranav! Keep debunking myths and pseudoscience.
" My qualification is, I am a Reki master" Is like saying "i am a sportsperson, I am the captain of my city's quidditch team," Sure u are mate, everyone knows that isn't a thing...
😂😂
You should made a main channel video about pseudoscience surrounding yoga.
While it does have its own benefits, it cannot replace physical training (basic running, push ups etc.)
what about flexibility?
@@vikrraal yes yoga does have benefits. But people make claims like Yoga curing Heart related problems, amenorrhea, etc
@@Dalson I won't lie but my eyes vision actually improved from sph -5 to -2 due to yoga. Ofcourse I used to avoid using smart phone in night and without lens but still i never actually took eye drop expect first 6 months after wearing lenses.
True. It is useful but people often make very extraordinary claims about it.
Exactly! Yoga is overhyped. I cannot focus and keep pacing in my room. People tell me to do yoga. Like I cannot sit straight without my fuckin mind wandering like a vagabond, how do you expect me to just sit and breathe peacefully? I have recently discovered that I have adhd. This yoga solution to every problem just delays actual diagnosis.
Why only women fasting......all rules for females
Thank you for debunking and saving on of my favourite delicacy dosa from irrational attacks from the dangerous lady.
Irony is at West Bengal we never eat vegetarian foods during Durga Puja. And shes spreading misinformation
🎉 Bengali here. In Bengal we eat mutton biryani, dum aloo, 2 boiled eggs, ferni and some thumbs up
Being an atheist I have plenty of times been to temples while menstruating... To accompany family and as a tourist place... And will always go in religious places while menstruating... nothing happens...all BS..and btw, what are doshas???? Where does those occur? The whole species exist because menstruation exists 😅😅😅
Dosha is savoury crepe-like food in south India; I'm not a fan..
But thank you, ma'am, for your (and all women's) service to humanity for menstruating; I never understood why my four sisters were allowed off school because they were "unwell", when they looked perfectly healthy... until I got married...
ps - joke, dosha does not equal dosa the food
I wouldn't advise it, not for any "scientific reasons". But out of respect for the sentiments of the people who are religious. It would be like you are going to someone's house and disrespecting them.
@@pseudonym9215 No religion, philosophy or idea is worthy of respect ...
does the brahmin priest check at the entrance to the temple whether a woman is menstruating ? (same for muslim women who are not permitted in masjid if menstruating)..
why follow such barbaric religions ? It is the brahmin priests and mullas and their gods and superstitions that decided woman are impure ... based on nothing other than prejudice and mysogeny and a desire to control others...
@@pseudonym9215how?
Can u elaborate
@@suryakantaswain331 Like if you are going to someones house, and you know that they believe, say for eg: wearing footwear inside house is disrespectful to them or it causes bad spirits to enter their house.
Now you can try and talk some sense into them, but it would be disrespectful of you to wear footwear on purpose when you are at their house. Because when you are at someone's house you respect their rules.
These people are cunning they exactly know that what sells in the market and you debunking and criticizing them affects their business.
That's what is scary ☠️
A friend just sent me his presentation. He's at school and he's studying "Yoga: The Science of Consciousness."
Pseudoscience creeps in deeper than we can even fathom. It's in our roots, and when you call out someone's roots, the entire vegetation starts fighting you with tooth and nail.

The yoga tree pose would help in "physical" balance ( not to the mind) and the thopukaranam would be a good strengthening exercise for the quadriceps muscle ( also does actually improve the venous pump and thereby cardiac output) I don't know why yoga exercises are being sold as mystical etc. I still think yoga is an amazing form of exercise too improve ones flexibility, mobility and even strength.
We don't fast during Durga Puja in Bengal, actually we celebrate it by eating all kinds of non vegetarian foods! 😂
No we don't eat non-veg during Durga pooja.... it's only you
@@shuvojit6649 yes we do
Why you are saying it with so much pride like you have accomplished something that very few people can achieve.
@@SSgbeast it's not an accomplishment. It's to show how flawed all religions are where cultures of the same religion just change according to place. And everyone thinks their way is the best way and the right way
@@SSgbeast non- compliance and refraining from sheep like behaviour where following others blindly is favoured, is indeed an achievement. Bengali people (at least most of them) still consuming non vegetarian food in this era, are achievers in that sense.
I don't know how you manage to keep your sanity after regularly watching such content. 😅 Thanks for doing this though.
Female Fit tuber can't get away with Woman Card fallacy
Maybe you should start putting a disclaimer at start of every video, it might help you get out of legal trouble in the future (if any)
Pranav you are doing great !
Pranav please make a video on Yoga as it's kind of Global phenomena with little bit of science linked to it
In absence of any logical counter argument to win these coward crap people will try doing one up by blocking.

Problem with Yoga is its extra ordinary claim. I do yoga but I treat it like any other exercise. mostly i do this to stretch my body that one can find anywhere. #HathYoga.
some hathyoga postures are just too dangerous so it's better if you have instructor but those postures may not benefit you much.
It won't be like that you are better than the other person who is doing modern exercises.

Unfortunately Lies around pseudoscience spreading faster than your debunking videos.
Hey, its not the content creators fault all the time. Sometimes the blame is also on the people who follow such "influencer"(including you) and take their words as vedas.
U r right, we should also be responsible
But how to decide which ones r pseudoscience videos?
Thus we have to constantly discuss about the contents on various platforms
To not to take their words as
"vedas", we have to do discussion
@@suryakantaswain331 Well I am not against discussion or pointing out that someone is spreading "pseudoscience", But realize Pranav is also susceptible to misinformation and wrong inferences. You can't really be 100% correct on things all the time, there will almost always be gaps in your knowledge. So even what you verified to be scientifically true today could turn out to false in 10 or 20 years.
@@pseudonym9215
U r correct that any information is not 100% accurate
But by the tools available, we r constantly trying to reach at the exact truth
Thus science is not claiming to be 100% accurate, rather its based on improvisation
U r correct that pranav may not giving accurate information
But he definitely giving a better way to verifying things on internet than some other influencers
I think, the motive of this channel is not to provide accurate information, rather giving tools to find out the fallacies, pseudosciences, faulty info etc.
Ok 👌
@@suryakantaswain331 You are very perceptive. And you are correct science is the best tool that we know can use to explain the 'how' of physical phenomenon or world. And remember science has its own limitations.
But important thing to remember here is, Science is a tool. So the effectiveness of the depends on how it is used and who is using it.
People like Pranav fall into the fallacy of appealing to the authority of science many times while actually having little knowledge about that field itself. When someone who is not an good expert in the field or who doesn't understand the nuances of it, starts interpreting new scientific development, it can lead to wrong inferences.
Eg: This channel talks a lot about medicines and uses the authority of scientific consensus to back its claim. But in a recent Lancelet journal it was pointed out that 1/3rd of all medicinal trails are straight up fraudulent, 1/3rd have major discrepancies in data and only 1/3rd can be considered reliable. Conclusion scientific consensus can be wrong. But that's how science operates. And people need to understand that.
