I think that in many cases, god-believers WANT it to be true that there exists an omnipotent, benevolent, sentient being on whom they can depend.
Further, I think that their desire that such an entity exists, becomes an important part of what they identify themselves as.

@@jostnamane3951 nothing about the world tells us how we ought to be. Science wont tell that. society creates rules so that it may sustain itself. A society that normalizes murder can't sustain itself for long. Thats why we have laws. Legal laws are prescriptive laws, humans make them based on what values they accept in society to be acceptable for society's cohesion. What science discovers is descriptive laws. Descriptive laws are the ones that exist in nature itself we can only discover them not invent them.

Sir, I really hope that all Indians could hear your arguments... not that because I want them to be atheist, but to have the understanding that religion, God is a personal thing, nobody can claim what they believe is the ultimate truth, and others are false. If 2 ppls personal believes don't match, they still can coexist, peacefully.. humanity is the only truth.. and religion is a personal thing....

As a born muslim for 25 years and became an agnostic for 15 years now, I can understand the problem with most born Muslims since they are brainwashed about religion since 4 years old, it would be very difficult for them to think critically about non existence of Allah.

Reacting to these videos just makes it longer and longer and we never get to reach the end of it. Just like controversies, they kind of never actually end coz they just reply to eachother and it makes it long and long. I think it would be great if u talk to these popular religious dudes in a livestream, with those religious dudes who have a great influence then ur voice can be reached and everyone could see the reality. I mean u make a video about him and people will be like yeah he makes a good point and then he replies to ur reply and people say that yeah he too makes a kind of good point. So debating with them in a livestream could end all of the confusion at once and i surely know u gonna be winning the debate.

There are two technical terms that will help you vimoh, you can use the term 'sample space'. Because we don't have a lot of universe to compare if perfect order only leads to evolution or something like that. That means that our sample space is limited.
Second is 'inter-subjective reality.' If something is not objective that doesn't mean that its subjective. It can also be inter-subjective. And morality is an inter-subjective thing.

Actually most people deep down already know that there is no God. They are just not ready or they have hold onto it for so long that, it will be like throwing their entirety away. If we use harm as a filter then anything that doesn't harm other people is moral, otherwise it's immoral. You don't harm others because if you did, it will affect the person you harmed, affect his close friends and family, affect members of the society in the sense that they'll trust you less or might want to seek revenge/justice by resorting to legal action etc. Imagine a 100-member tribe living in pre-historic times when no religion existed. If 50 out of those 100 were murderers, then that tribe wouldn't survive for long. Morality is what has prevented human societies from falling apart and it's kept us going and growing since the beginning of our time. We need each other to survive and grow, so we don't hurt each other. You don't need any religious text to teach you morality, it's just common sense!

1-If someone makes a claim, they must provide evidence, logic, and reasons behind it. So, if religious individuals assert the existence of God, they need to substantiate it. Without evidence, countering a claim becomes challenging.
2- Regarding objective morality, morality isn't exclusive to theists or atheists. A theist who prays daily can engage in immoral actions. Numerous examples show religion driving people to commit immoral acts like terrorism , bombing,killing, Lynching in the name of religion,challenging the whole idea of objective morality.
On homosexuality, as a medical student, I can affirm that scientific understanding portrays homosexuality as normal. It's not a contagious disease, and influencing someone's sexuality is unfounded. Sexuality and gender are distinct, with two genders and multiple sexualities.
Concerning nudity, supporting the freedom of choice in clothing doesn't mean atheists roam naked. Expecting everyone to adhere to a specific dress code is impractical. Nudity is wrongly associated with women, and the claim of protection contradicts instances of violence , rape and exploitation against women.
3- "Aurto aur bacho ko nahi kattal karo" - No one advocates harming women and children. If someone hadn't stated it , would you condone harming them? Basic morality dictates refraining from taking another's life; claiming that it's only because someone said so questions your own moral compass.
Agar xyz nhi bolta to tum aurat aur bacho ko maar dete right?
4- Analyzing the world map, regions with higher religious populations often correlate with increased crime rates, corruption including violence against women. Some atheist countries, with higher happiness rankings, demonstrate that religion doesn't guarantee societal harmony.
In conclusion, religion and God, being man-made,If religion were solely about God, it might not lead to such societal issues but it contributes to societal chaos through superstitions, illogical beliefs, inter-religious animosity, and the exploitation of women.

@@danielhunter1773 for following Christianity you have to reject the ideas of Hinduism, otherwise you're both. Cuz we can't tell which one is true among thousands of religion. So if you're following two then it's ok and normal but I am good with Hinduism cuz Mughal empire banned Sanskrit and destroyed historical sites and temples therefore hindus stopped talking Sanskrit, they destroyed our books but Brahman kept it alive in their mind therefore we have still information about hinduism but cuz of past incidents out parents are not able to tell about our religion perfectly and that's why I became an atheist but now I know God looking an animal is not illogical cuz god doesn't look like humans but we look like them, even animals and microorganisms. And there is only 1 or 3 god: Brahama Vishnu and Mahesh

Another thought comes to my mind that when we were born in this world we were not feeling anything and if we died then it was also like this that we were not feeling anything. This is my thought.
I am a born muslim but now i am a muslim by choice as well, Alhmdulillah. Islam is the only religion which tells you to critically think and ponder. Quran doesn't tells you to have a blind faith and same goes for the existence of God.
For Vimoh sir i just have one question, it is a quite well established scientific theory that universe has a beginning and it's not eternal and it tends to begin, how it comes into existence from Nothing as universe is a creation ex nihilo there were no matter who created all the matter and everything in this universe, and i will presume you will not bring this question, than who created God at the first place because that will lead us to infinite regress.
