I’ve done bleaching. I do it in the summer with Clorox bleach and let the sun bleach it. It worked great. Had to do few steps to get desired results. It turned out gorgeous. I love that look. I then did a white wash and waxed and wow, it looked like a million dollars. Love this piece and how it turned out.

The bleached look turned out well, you did a great job for your client. I really loved the original look though, was so classic and beautiful. I liked the pop of duck egg in the interior, fun & unexpected!

Great Job! I have bleached with both household bleach and the two-part wood bleach. I specifically wanted to try on a piece of mahogany. It did well but still a reddish undertone. I know sanding is recommended after stripping but doesn’t that open up for the wood to ‘bleed?’ I definitely prefer the whiter undertone that you achieved.
I sanded very lightly , only the very surface before applying a paint wash to correct the remaining orange tones
Give us product name for stain stripper/wood bleaching, this is why we look these videos up not to just watch you working

It amazes me that people want to ruin furniture in this manner. If someowant wants this horrid bleached out look, then please buy a new piece made that that way. That sideboard is ruined forever.
