The common theme of all those reviewing the SS1LE is the sheer joy in their voices and on their faces. My only disagreement with you is on the refresh posted earlier... While not the hugest fan of the refresh in most Camaros, the refresh on the 1LE looks spectacular. The combo of the black hood and accents with that big new grill, is amazing. So amazing that I ordered a 2019 SS1LE in Satin Steel Gray metallic and am awaiting it's arrival any day. Thanks for the review and keep the rubber side down.
It truly is a great automobile! And I am glad we can agree to disagree on the styling. What’s under the skin is nothing short of amazing! Have fun with it!

DangerousDan you’re not kidding. I live in Boston. When I was looking for my 1LE, none of the dealers in my area could get the hyper blue metallic. When I flew down to Austin TX for work, a local dealer had 8 in stock, 3 of which where hyper blue.

you can get a skip shift eliminator plugs right into the transmission for like $20 takes 2 min to install and then skip shift is gone the light will still come on in range or the skip but you can put it in any gear at any time first thing to install for sure i have had a 99 trans am 98 ss camaro 2009 c6 corvette did it to all of those works great
Kenny Thomas when you drive aggressively it does skip.
I have a black 2018 I have owned Mustangs, Z28’s, and Corvettes but my 1LE is by far my most favorite vehicle I have owned

The only thing that Chevy did wrong was putting those plastic e-brakes on those cars. Also those seats are uncomfortable, no reclining like you can on a Mustang or Challenger. Those camaros are REALLY nice, but I think they lacked feeling for owners who truly want to enjoy the cars, as far as comfort and long drives wise. If I do happen to get one, I'm hoping I can find some way to install custom leather seats, or somehow modify the factory seats to go all the way back for optimal back support. Driving those cars is almost like riding in a cheap go cart, then again, they still aren't bad. I hate how the newer models look from the front, great review!

Oh yeah! And the best thing is it was a manual naturally! Such a cool car! The other SS was an automatic, but the 1LE definitely takes the cake!

Absolutely, but it was in the outtakes. I literally cursed it (but that part I left out of the outtakes).
I put the delete kit on mine. Took 10 minutes

Just bought me a 2018 Camaro 2SS Redline. Haven't gotten a chance to test it out BC there was a downpour right as I was about to pull off the lot. Dammit!
There's a used one of these, 2018 for $35k with just under 5k miles. Is that a good deal?

Can’t decide between a brand new 2019 black ss 1le vs 2017 stingray 1lt manual with 4000 miles! Corvette looks exotic and special but the new black ss 1le looks so aggressive and mean!
Never driven the stingray so I can't form an objective opinion on that one sadly. I do think they look better than the 2019 Camaro's though. I think the Chevy design team was sleeping when they pushed through the front end and rear end redesign for the non ZL1 cars. Sometimes something does not need tweaking. Totally the case for the 2018 Camaro SS. It looked perfect IMHO.
I just went thru the same exact decision. I drove both and ended up going with the 2019 2SS 1LE in black. More of a muscle car to me than the corvette and 1les are rare if you ask me which was another reason I went with it

Taxes always kill it. But it pays for the roads to open her up on so... worth it!

When you take off gingerly. It just guides you into 4th.

I used to have a 2017 ss now I have a 2019 mustang gt !!! The visibility and the comfort of the mustang is way better plus it’s quicker to I guess I’m a stang guy
Never had a go in a 2019 and up actually! The newest one I drove was a 2017 GT350 (review edit pending, probably March 2020).
How much is this car in the dealer ? Is my biggest question
The answer is always google. But right now, July 2021, probably much more than it is actually worth due to the shortages.
