  • TNT Outdoors presents: Testing my new Hi-Point Firearms Model C9, chambered in 9MM Luger. That’s right, the infamous Yeet Cannon G1!!! Yes, these guns are Made in America and come with a Lifetime Warranty, but is it any good? We’re about to find out.... Please join us as we test 7 different Brands and types of ammunition in our Yeet Cannon 9mm to see if and how well the different and varying types of ammunition perform from our pistol. This is a truly “Straight Out of the Box” test of my brand new, never fired, not even cleaned yet, Hi-Point Firearms model C9 Yeet Cannon G1 9mm handgun.
Here’s some questions I had about the Hi-Point Yeet Cannon - “Is the Yeet Cannon”:
    The Cheapest Pistol?
    The Cheapest handgun?
    The Cheapest gun / firearm?
    Best budget friendly handgun?
Best budget friendly gun / firearm?
    Best value handgun?
    Most reliable handgun?
    Best Handgun for SHTF?
    Best Pistol for SHTF?
Best gun / firearm for SHTF?
    Best Caliber for SHTF?
    Most popular Handgun?
    Most popular round caliber?
    Best Handgun?
    Best Firearm?
    Best gun?
What caliber firearm is the best for preppers prepping for a Shit Hits the Fan, SHTF, scenario?
Best Everyday Carry EDC Pistol / Handgun?
    Best weapon?
    Best budget firearm?
    Best budget handgun?
Honestly, I think a lot of answers to these questions might be yes for a lot of people, depending on their finances and personal situation. One thing is for sure, so far I actually really like my HiPoint, and I really respect this company for striving to make a reliable firearm, at an affordable price! And the fact that all of their guns are Made in America, and they back them up with a fully transferrable Lifetime Warranty, is very commendable - not something you see very often these days from product manufacturers!
I meant to discuss this in the video, but it was getting so long, and I quite frankly forgot when I was shooting; but there are 2 of my favorite CZcamsrs that also were a major factor when deciding if/that I wanted to “pull the trigger” on purchasing a Hi-Point Yeet Cannon:
‪@DemolitionRanch‬ did pretty much a whole series on Hi-Points, where Matt torture tested them doing everything from filling the barrels with cement to welding them shut! And they still fired!!!
Here’s a link to one of those videos from Demolition Ranch:
    • I Welded a Barrel Shut...
‪@GunDoctorTV‬ actually “melted” a Hi-Point with Thermite! And it still Fired!!!
Here’s a Link to that video from GunDoctorT.V.:
    • Will It Survive?
GunDoctorT.V.’s follow-up video to that initial Thermite video:
    • Melted HiPoint
List of Different Ammo we tested:
1.) Herter’s 9MM Luger, 115 Grain, Full Metal Jacket (“FMJ”)
    2.) Blazer Ammunition 9MMLuger, 115 Gr, FMJ
3.) Winchester 9MM Luger, 147 GR, Jacketed Hollow Point (“JHP”)
4.) Sig Sauer Personal Defense Ammunition (“Elite Defense”), V-Crown 9MM, 147 GR, JHP
    5.) Sierra 9MM Luger, 124 Grain, JHP
6.) Winchester Silvertip 9MM Luger, 147 Gr., Defense JHP
7.) Hornady Critical Defense 9MM Luger, 115 gr. FTX Bullet, “Stuffed JHP?”
Note: It was a mistake not cleaning/oiling my Yeet Cannon prior to testing for the first time. I always clean my firearms before firing them for the first time, however, I had literally just picked up my gun from my local FFL dealer after they received my order from Guns.com. I didn’t have time to clean the pistol before I performed this test firing. I knew this was not the best idea, however, I was already on my way to our property and was anxious to try her out! I believe that any “malfunction(s)” observed in this test were a direct result of this. The difference in how the gun performed and “felt” between the first test and the post-cleaning follow up was very noticeable. The pistol felt much smoother (“like butter”) after cleaning! Please always clean newly purchased guns and always keep them well maintained, cleaned, and oiled to make sure they are ready when you may need them most.
Even still, this Yeet Cannon performed very well, in my opinion, and I am thoroughly happy with it. I would definitely recommend this firearm as a very good gun, especially as an extremely affordable option for anyone on a tight budget!
    Thank You For Watching!!! 👍😁

First pistol I ever bought was the C9. $177. Just turned 21 and figured "Well, time to start to know about these things" Big, bulky, low magazine capacity, heavy and fairly accurate. I liked it. Only put 150 rounds through it over the course of 6 months (I didn't have a penny back then) I'm self taught on pistols and firearms in general and it all started with this pistol right here 11 years ago.

Wow, that’s awesome! My first handgun I bought for myself was a Taurus Tracker 44 Magnum on 11/04/2008. Needed something for defense from Hogs, etc on our deer lease at the time. Man they had some huge hogs out there, and a ton of them too. Felt much better walking through the woods in the middle of the night with that on my hip! Love that gun, still carry it to this day every time I’m in the woods. Have a pretty cool Short coming out in the next few days featuring that very revolver….

good review. I had recently just bought a C9. I had issues with failure to feed and eject. Not every round. But as the day progressed it started functioning okay. I think it wasn't broken in even though it was used. but I'll see the next therapy session

Yeah, with the price of ammo, even used firearms might not be very broken in. I know I can’t afford as much “therapy” as I’d like…
What ammo were you using? The Hornady FTX was really the only round that gave me issues, but after a good cleaning/oiling it seemed to function ok. I’m still not gonna rely on FTX and carry loaded with them because I’ve heard of others who’ve had problems with it, and I’ve had issues with some of Hornady’s other “fancy bullets”, specifically the LEVERevolution rounds…

Thank you!! No matter what I’m testing/reviewing, I really try to show it in action and/or show actual results. I’m just an average guy and I try to make videos how I would like to see them if I was searching for more info about whatever the subject is. I figure anyone can look up the “technical specs”, but what I really want to see is how the product functions in a real-life scenario.
If you’d have told me 2 years ago that I’d be a “CZcamsr”, I would have told you that you were crazy! However, I was searching for videos on a night vision device I saw at Walmart. None of the videos showed the thing actually being used in total darkness (instead there were street lights etc.) and most of the videos didn’t even show any footage from this night vision monocular/camera at all! I decided to buy it anyway, and was so surprised when I actually discovered that it worked pretty good. I thought why didn’t anyone show it actually working in pitch black darkness?! Then I thought, “maybe I could just make a video about it so someone else like me could actually see how it works!” So I did, it was our first video on the channel! I didn’t anticipate that making these videos would be so much fun to do, and additionally it feels really good to help provide more information to people! Not gonna lie though, this “hobby” has gotten pretty expensive and is very time consuming - it is a lot of work putting out videos with a full time job, family responsibilities, etc.
I can’t tell you how much your comment means to me - thank you! It’s comments like this that make all the hard work totally worth it!!

Nothing wrong with a Hi-point most shame should come from gun snobs. I was told when was in police academy never buy a carry gun cost money. Often in a shoot those guns are confiscated, and can take over a year to get back. So in that time you're out that gun while it gets beat up in evidence locker. Sometimes even destroyed by accident.

It’s a shame because I dug 1 of the FTX bullets out of the dirt and the expansion/retention was pretty impressive. I haven’t had much luck with Hornady’s “fancy” bullets overall. Cheap firearms are dangerous to the operator and all bystanders. Cheap ammo is dangerous, inconsistent and each round is likely to become seated after chambering which can cause catastrophic failure resulting in injury or death. When selecting firearms and ammunition, safety should be your first priority. That being said, there are better low budget options in the handgun market but you're better off spending a little more and getting something much more reliable, durable and comfortable to carry and shoot.
