Huge aircrafts appears from nowhere as heavy fog causes havoc for pilots and traffic controllers at Europe's busiest single runway airport. Planes were seen landing through the mist - while others were forced to circle or divert or go around.
Dense fog is very rare in London . Interesting fact ! Exactly one year ago I've filmed this video at Heathrow airport • Airplanes landings in ...
This act of nature is known as “radiation fog,” and usually takes place in hours before sunrise. But this particular occurrence has broken the record as it lasted for the whole day

Wow, it’s the first time I see a video like this. If I was there I don’t know how can I record by the way, Did you used Fr24? Amazing, Felya!!
that's why it's called a Cat III autoland, not exactly havoc. it's P.F.M.
So visibility is very low and you go stand where the plane may hit if coming too low. Genius.
All these landing were auto land . I was standing in safe place . Auto land is able to land airplane in zero visibility
Great video, did you film G-GATK takeoff around 12:10am as I was on that?
Shame, next time you're back then!!
I bet lots of hold up's were on that day.
haha that runway looks like a disco floor
How Can They See If Some Planes Crashes In The fog?
thanks to GPS

Very normal in English airports.
ILS at its best
Title Should say "humans" landing in heavy fog. Planes don't fly themselves
Everything is done here by auto pilot
