Incontro con la ricerca, 4° appuntamento primo semestre
    ►THE LECTURE◄
Geothermal heat pumps are a particular kind of machine that exploit the energy conserved in the soil due to the thermal gradient: they can thus provide our house with heat during winter and cold air during summer. Being the temperature far from the ground at constant temperature during the year, it is possible, thanks to XXXX, to design efficient and ecologic devices that are gaining more and more importance on the market.
Professor Pasquier deals with all of these issues in his research activity which is currently taking place in Padua University together with proff. Zarrella and De Carli. For the first time ever in the history of LEDS, the lecture will be held in English.
    ► THE GUEST ◄
Philippe Pasquier works as an associated professor at the Civil, Geological and Mining Engineering at the Technical University of Montréal, Canada. He’s main research interests focus on Physical hydrogeology, Contaminant hydrogeology, Contaminated soils and groundwater and Geoexchange and he is currently working as a researcher at the Department of Industrial Engineering of Padua.
