Don't worry if you don't get everything at first. You should watch each video multiple times until you can follow along without the English subtitles and write down any words you are struggling with. Over time, you'll piece everything together the same way you did with your native language. My goal is to build a complete Cantonese immersion course that will get you to the conversational level. So stay tuned for the next video!

I’m a native Cantonese speaker from HK and I have no idea why this video was recommended to me 😂 It’s great to know that there are people interesting in learning Cantonese and you are doing an excellent job promoting it! We have to protect our language and culture. Keep up the good work!廣東話係唔容易學,但亦係一個好有趣同好好玩嘅語言,希望多啲人認識廣東話。加油!💪

I agree, criticizing someone's lazy tone isn't probably the best way to promote language. There are definitely better ways to motivate someone to learn.

Just discovered your channel, and I love how you put subtitles for everything you say (must have took a long time).
I find them really helpful since there are a lot of slangs in Cantonese but it’s hard to find a good source that shows those characters instead of the formal 汉子 form.

I know how to say the easy phrases but still struggle to understand some phrases. The problem is I got no one to talk to in cantonese outside of my house. I speak hoi ping vah or wah and understand hoi shan vah too. When I was a kid i watch TVB series and as i grow i rarely have to watch it. Recently i was watching Tvb tv shows and i think my canto has improved. Great job with the sub titles!

I’m asking for my 97 year old mother in the UK who has difficulty hearing and so hasn’t had success with channels such as memehongkong, Ng Sam, or RTHK, because she finds them hard to understand because they speak unclearly. Stephen Chan is great but she’s exhausted his content. The way you speak is perfect but wrong genre for her. Thx!
