  • What has the Church hidden from you? Do you know the Truth or just what you have been told? Do you want the rest of the story? Can you handle it? Was Yeshua (Jesus) a Christian? Was He a Pharisaical Jew who died for our sins? Or was He teaching something radical and different than mainstream Judaism of his day taught, something different than Mainstream Christianity today? Something that got Him killed and His message hidden after His ascension? Is the Truth still out there, buried in long-forgotten books and vague historical references by the very men that wiped out the original faith and message once delivered to the saints? I invite you to join me as I search out the original Faith of the Yeshua and the 12 Apostles.

    The word for Paul's writing, "nonsensical," seems to be something along the lines of "illogical." In the Clementine writings, I think there was something about short and sweet arguments being preferable to long-winded illogical arguments. People who are led by the spirit will accept the logical gospel, but those who are not led by the Holy Spirit are persuaded by the illogical stuff that simply "sounds" intellectual to them simply because there were a lot of words involved.

      It was at the beginning of the Recognitions, before Clement ever left Rome. Clement discusses how debating is useless to find truth, because people will simply choose based on the side that argues the best, not on which one is true. He makes the point that a person's skill in rhetoric does not mean that their point is true, they simply have the most skill in oration.

    Google translate says that word is tricky. Which is crazy because Paul is tricking everyone. So it almost like you get tricked by Paul but you get a treat when you fallow the Fathers law.

    Thanks for digging a little deeper for us Brad . You know because you mentioned that moving/creeping things probably means cold blooded animals , I decided to look up if fish were cold blooded and it turns out that they are , so maybe I'll keep CLEAN fishes in my diet . I'm still struggling with giving up meat altogether but knowing now that I can still eat fish gives me a little encouragement

      The only thing I would say about that is that the fish were created on the 4th day, the creeping things on the 5th. So, I don't think the term "creeping things" in Gen 9:3 includes fish because they were obviously separate categories of beings in Gen 1.

      @@koreyoneal2623actually, the root of that word for “creeping thing/remes” shows up as “moving thing/ramas” in Genesis 1:21 (referring to moving things in the sea)
      Their Strong’s numbers are H7430 and H7431 respectively. So I think you’re good to go! The words correspond with the simple logic you applied, considering fish are cold-blooded and generally kosher (as far as I know). Also anti-inflammatory in nature, so your inner self will thank you lol

    Great catch David. Bugs dont have blood in them, they have a substance called haemolymph. Which technically puts them outside the category of flesh with blood in it. I've always wondered how you could get all the blood out of meat, and the short answer is that you can't. If you eat flesh, you are eating blood.

      Or you don't realize that the Messiah IS referenced as a 'Lamb' which was mainly used as a burnt sacrifice, trespass, or peace offering. Or you don't understand "clean/unclean" foods, or you haven't read the Torah (which has eating animal meat in every book), or you don't understand sacrifices/offerings using only "clean" animals...mainly ruminant animals at that...

    I personal like Paul I didn't for many years but I realize at the end of the day he's the only reason that Christians are saved.
    Peter was still eating separately, and basically crossing the street when he seen Gentiles, so I have had to "soften", my personal opinions. Plus we don't know what has been added on to scriptures in time, it would be unfortunate if he didn't say everything that they claimed he did.
    Also on a side note it's humorous, people use Paul's statement, ALL scripture is God breathed? Since Paul meant the 👉ALREADY "Written Scriptures"!!
    🤣 Paul', LITTERLY acknowledges our NEED for the "written scriptures", NOT claiming his humble letters were meant to be included in Torah😅

    • @DavidHNotsari
      @DavidHNotsari  Před 6 měsíci

      I'm pretty certain that the thing about Peter eating separately was about Paul not teaching them not to eat meat sacrificed to Idols. When the group from James showed up it blew the cover off Paul, and Peter separated himself because he realized that the people he was sitting with were still involved in idolatry. If Paul had been teaching what he was supposed to Peter never would have withdrawn himself.
      Peter had already had the vision in Acts 10 by the time that happened, he didn't start preaching to gentiles because of Paul, he was already doing that.

      @koreyoneal2623 Parts of Acts was written in a way that mimics scenes from popular plays in the first century. It would be the modern equivalent of a 2024 TV show setting up scenes that looked similar to scenes from famous 1980s movies and seeing if anyone notices. The thing is, when Acts does that, Saul is always playing the role of someone from the original play that is being dishonest or is hiding something. Interesting...

    For me eating cold blooded creeping things, seems non-intuitive. Having said that, if the text had not been manipulated by the 'lying pen of the scribe', I suspect that God may have allowed it to ease the potential burden on ourselves from becoming excessively anxious when eating greens and fruit that might contain an rare insect that had been eaten unintentionally? Not that much different from cattle which were made to eat grass but they must also consume a lot of creeping things in their day.

    • @DavidHNotsari
      @DavidHNotsari  Před 7 měsíci

      Truthfully, I attribute this verse to the lying pen of the scribes, I doubt that God really told Noah he could eat lizards. I could see this as being inserted to deal with the question of what Noah ate after getting off the ark while waiting for crops to mature. Like giving Noah permission to eat creeping things as a survival technique.
