- The continent of Europa is engulfed in the flames of the Second Europan War between the Atlantic Federation and the Autocratic Eastern Imperial Alliance. It really annoys me the amount of people that mention or ask for other games in videos that are not even related to them. The only things that might connect between these games are the console or the company.
It's like saying "F your game. I want [game(s)]" and it's really insulting for the creator for the game of this video.
It's fine to not like the game. But at least have some respect. If you want to suggest something, then go to the respective company website or twitter or anything like that and leave your suggestions there. If the video is not about the game you want, then please don't even mention it.

Yes that's good, however I'm more triggered that SEGA never keeps a consistency in their franchises, launching each sequel between SONY or Nintendo consoles so you don't get the full experience of games like Phantasy Star or Valkyria Chronicles without owning all the consoles.

It's Sherman time! After a Tiger (VC), a Panzer IV (VC II) and a King Tiger (VC III), it's time for one of the most mass-produced tanks of WW2 to take the spotlight of Valkyria Chronicles; a well-suitable tank to represent the Atlantic Federation, used by both Allies and Soviets (the main camouflage of the Atlantic Federation is light green, mostly used by the Red Army), and that tank received a lot of modifications so I would love to see the chance to modify it and make it like the Firefly, the Easy Eight, the Jumbo, the Crocodile, the Bulldozer and even the Calliope.
Definitely getting this game day one.

I look forward to playing this eventually. Got a taste for this series last year when I played VC2 and really enjoyed it.
Though I do hope they localize VC3 some day. Seems kind of funny to release the 4th game before the 3rd game XD
Really excited for this game, having it on switch is perfect for games like this. Crazy to think this and fire emblem switch are coming out in the same year.
This is going to be good. The Atlantic Federation finally gets fleshed out as a faction. Getting to see their side of the war will be interesting!
i am so excited. As someone who spent over 100 hours with the original I can honestly say that amount of effort that goes into this series is amazing. So happy its coming to the Switch

While you're at it Sega please make a Sakura Wars 6, Skies of Arcadia 2, Jet Set Radio 3, Streets of Rage 4, Fighting Vipers 3, and Virtua Fighter 6. Just any one of these would make me even happy! Or release Valkyria Chronicles 3 on Steam, PS4, Switch, and/or XB1.

Holy s**t! A new Valkiria Chronicles in the same vein as the first the same year as a potential new Fire Emblem! And I though 2017 was the year of JRPG retaking the name of RPG.
Would love for the remastered first game to come to the Switch (and maybe a remake of the second and third one as well).
Finally Nintendo is getting in on one of the greatest TRPG games to ever come to the Playstation. I love this series so much I may just have to get it for both PS4 and Switch, because it is just that awesome.

Glad the makers of this game are using the same gameplay as the first game, I played V1 on the PS3 long ago and loved every minute of it( I even have the remaster version on the PS4). I even saw the anime as well. Though I couldn't play V2 or V3 due to not having the right console for it at the time, though all the Valkyria games take place around the same year in game where the war started, so each game just talks about the same war but in different areas with different stories. I was excited when I heard Valkyria Revolution was coming, but when I played it, it didn't feel as fun as the first game (gameplay different, long levels, same basic controls of fighting, and the cut-scene were too long and boring, also it was a spin-off so the time in game was a different world and history) But when I saw this trailer I can tell that SEGA is finally making this game right by going back to the same old gameplay and history in game as the first which made it AWESOME. Can't wait to play this game soon.
Why am I getting emotional in just this preview video? It's probably because this is reviving memories of the PC Valkyria Chronicles game.

Juan No man, the PlayStation controller was developed by Sony itself when agreements with Nintendo about the "Play Station" was already scrapped. Indeed, the only "Sony/Nintendo Play Station" prototype we have uses standard SNES controller.
It's by Sega. I thinks this game was originalità developed for the PS4, than they port It on Xbox One and Switch.
Lucio_o_o O_o it's on 3 different consoles, and seeing how the Switch version seems to be coming later, and the Japanese hate the Xbox, it makes sense it's a Playstation controller. I'm going to wait for the Switch version, as i trust Sega to do a good job with the port. If it's a crap port, i'll just grab it on PS4.

I mean, I've never played a Valkyria Chronicles. If I want to play one, should THIS be my first game, or should I start elsewhere?

I say you can start with this. The stories are all new except V1 is the beginning V3 takes place in same time as well and V2 takes place after those two. I believe V4 will be another new story with a perspective on another side so it doesn’t matter where you start. Try V4
First one for PC or PS4... PS3 is also okay.
I started with 2 and didn't feel like I missed anything. It's clearly a sequel but they give you all the information you need

I sure hope the Skies of Arcadia cast (Vyse, Aika & Fina) will make a cameo like in the past.
Hmm..it became a lot more anime trope-y and design than I'd have liked but w.e, proper vc game at last. As long as its the classic gameplay this sold me switch

I really enjoyed Code Name S.T.E.A.M., and I'm currently watching a playthrough of XCOM 2, now itching to play another strategy game. I heard about this series a while ago and it seemed interesting so maybe it's about time I try it out.
I played the second on the psp and I have the third also. Waiting for steam sale to get the original and eventually will get this one on the switch. Yes, I like these games :)

I love Valkyria Chronicles and my brother broke the ps4 and i was really sad when i heard 4 was coming out and I can't play revolution till we get it fixed but I'm exited now because I can play it on my switch! Also you need to release a remaster of 1, 2, and a america release of 3 and revolution on the switch, I will buy them all again and bug my friends to get it.
I really, really hope there's gonna be a PC port for this. the PC port of the original Valkyria Chronicles basically saved the franchise thanks to the sales numbers. Please let it become reality.
I'm pretty sure this game was meant to be Playstation exclusive (like the other installments of Valkyria Chronicles) but I guess Sega pushed the multi-platform release

Even the first game in the series wasn't PS exclusive, as it was released on PC. Granted, years later, but still. And with that release (and re-release on PS4), the interests in the series was reignited for the fans.
+Gina Pertance If you actually watched the video you would know that's not true. In the interviews they state they poured a lot of passion in the game and they want everyone to experience it. They want the player to feel the emotions and feelings the characters do in the game.
So no, this wasn't planned to be exclusive to Playstation 4 based on their thoughts and emotions of the game. They see this game as the best and most passionate in the franchise and clearly want to make it possible for as many people as possible to be able to play it. It's not coming to PC for now but honestly you are a fool if you only own a PC.
