Should've been slightly thinner. It would fit much more flush around the speaker and such. But definitely better than staring at a cracked dash.

What about adding a V2 of this excellent dash cover, go the extra mile, and extend the piece of plastic to above the glove compartment? That would be awesome, and I would pay an extra $50 for that on top of the cost of the Coverlay! I'm talking about underneath the silver piece but directly above the glove compartment. Please consider it! The way it ends by the radio is very weird to us OCD types.

What color did you install in the video? It looks to be gray, but I cant tell for sure. I have a 2005 Silver color Acura TL. The dashboard of the car in the video looks like it has the same colors as my car. If you can provide the name of the coverlay color from the video then I can order the right one.
I have some concerns about the airbag.
Once the Coverlay is installed with the silicone can it be removed at some point if necessary?
The color in the video is black (BLK). Its hard to tell with different lighting. You can remove the cover by heating it with a heat gun or blow dryer. If you need to remove it to work on your vehicle, we will warranty it for you. Airbag covers do not have to be installed - we provide them because we have the request from customers, but it's entirely up to you to not install if that is what you prefer.
What color is it ??
This one is black. We make them in several different colors. More info can be found on our website at www.coverlaymfg.com
Does it need to install at a certain temperature range?
I would say anything above say 50 degrees Fahrenheit you'd be fine. It is also a good idea to put the tube in a cup of hot water to soften the silicone before use. FMI please call us at 800-633-7090.

Won't the airbag cover somehow hinder its deployment?
No it will move freely with the factory airbag cover underneath it. It will deploy back toward the windshield.
No center speaker cover?
No we don't but if you need a screen installed you can call our Customer Service Team at 1-800-633-7090 and request this when you order the dash cover.

I have a 2005 Acura TL with about 20 cracks on the dash. Bought the coverlay and it fits well, but the silicon glue that came with it doesn't hold. Kept weight on the cover for 2 days, removed the weights and as soon as started driving, it came loose. I pulled it off without any resistence. Any other glue suggestions?

Was your dash free from any oily substances like armor all and were you able to clean it with a Windex type cleaner before the install?
How well did it cover up the crack? Meaning was it a flat surface after with no obvious signs of crack underneath?
@@barrysylvia1626 It fit very well where you couldn't see the cracks under it and blended well like the original dash. The issue was getting it to glue down around all the edges.

Why does it have a airbag hole please sell one without that please. The factory dash doesn’t have a hole in it like that for a airbag and if the airbag went off it would bust a hole in the coverlay dash anyways.

@@ShiftyReaperGaming No we do not have plans to redesign this dash cover, so ours will have the cut out with the cover for the airbag area.
