- Just a quick video on installing this dash cover from Coverlay to hide my cracked dash board. The 3rd Gen TL have problems with cracked dash boards so this can be a permanent solution for it. It hides the cracked dash so it doesn't look awful to stare at.
Edit: have you upgraded your tweeters before installing this? While I really would love to put this cover over my dash I'm currently waiting for my aftermarket stock amp (mobile max car audio amp/speakers) once I've installed those and my after-market head unit, I'll then put the dash cover on. I love my 06 Acura TL. But most of all is how great it handles and all of the aftermarket parts that can be purchased.
I feel your pain... I had almost just purchased a new dash (it was $600 plus....) but after seeing this cover in person I felt it did a great job of covering the cracks. Thanks for the video!!!!
haven't upgraded any tweeters before installing, pretty much stock besides the radio I put in later.
How has this been over past couple weeks with very cold weather? I noticed a NJ inspection sticker so we are in the same state potentially.
@anthony merc . So far it’s been fine, no cracks or anything on the cover. It definitely looks better than having to look at those cracks. It doesn’t slide off or anything because I made sure to put enough glue. I will do a follow up video on a month or two.

@chris dc yes, the cover is holding up fine. No issues at all since I installed it. However, I just recently sold the car in my previous video. I’m sure it will last years and years without issues.

@@chrisdc3917 my dash was cracked bad but I didn’t want to look at it like that so the cover was the best option. Never regret buying it and when I sold it the new owner didn’t even noticed about until I told him.

It warps in the heat had it before
