Damn this is one of the most in-depth analysis I have ever saw, You put a lot of effort into this I can see that. You earned a sub here x
Man it's criminal that your channel doesn't have more subs. You're easily the best technical analysis channel on youtube and whilst yeah 61k subs is nothing to sneeze at you should be 10x that. Whenever a player is linked to my team (Liverpool) your channel is where I go to learn more about the player. Great work man, much appreciated.
unlucky but it's because only "pure" footy fans want to see every video. I don't want to watch a video on how incredible a player my rival signed over us is
Appreciate it bro - very kind words. Good things will come to those who work hard so we will carry on and hope the effort is eventually rewarded!
Liverpool fan here looking for some info on a player I hadn’t taken much notice of, but one the club are interested in. Really impressive analysis, hopefully more fans will see these before casting judgement on players based on press sentiment or simply age. Nice one!
I really love this account! Gives detailed analysis unlike others that will just show us the good part
Appreciate it ❤️
@@PythagorasinBoots 💪💪.. expecting Kone and Enzo le fee🌚
Make how a midfield of LAVIA - ENZO - CACEIDO would work tactically.
it can't
@@tomasgomez1906It can, but it’d just be very defensive. Palmer Lavia and Enzo would be a better pairing to fit lavia imo.
I can tell as a Chelsae fan that midfield enzo caisedo work like shit in EPL, cause despite all gem qualities (mainly about enzo) those two lack of speed and intensity. I actually never saw lavia (cause dude is 24/7 injured) but Chelsea needs someone like kante or onana to balance this midfield with legs, intensity and aggression, someone who's able to cover a wide range on the field and is good in the recovery phase. gallaher does part of this job but he's a pretty limited player in everything he does
@@BenNo-nm1kjthat midfield doesn't work because it's not being played to it's strength.
It's not balanced enough to play against top sides, but against most teams should be more than enough.
In a back 3 however, Enzo and caicedo can work like a charm, but not under pochettino cuz he is horrible.
@@shanchar can't quite agree. chelsea struggled a lot against mid/lower mid table teams, midfield doesn't look robust and dominant
I think if he goes to a team where he can develop, the sky is the limit for him. Also, I think he should try his hardest to be a 6 in a possession team. Out of all these young athletic midfielders in the PL, I think his skills suit the role the most. But the 6 position in a possession team is probably the hardest role in football, so it would take time. Lavia can be world class, he's got so much potential and he's a very hard working and smart player as well.
He'd kill it for arteta's arsenal playing in partey's role
I think Brighton might be a good fit for him especially if Caicedo follows McAllister out of the club
Best analysis I have seen from an independent CZcams creator. Got a sub from me. Well done.
Only just discovered your channel. Wow! Great detailed analysis. Subscribed!
Really interested to see where Lavia's career goes. If he manages to add better positioning and involvement in the build up to his repertoire, he'd be one of the best DM's of his generation.
Needs to time his tackles better and stay on feet more.
Lavia as a 6 Enzo as an 8 😍COYB
@@andilemkhize8289you guessed it right
That is THE definitive lavia analysis, well done 👏
great video bro woulf like to see more cdms given how rare and wanted nowadays. Florentino luis, Zubimendi, alan varela and Ugochukwu
In terms of long passes in the modern day prem, Rodri and van dijk come to mind with two footed long pass ability
Excellent analysis!
This is what I am expecting to see. Not showing us the rosy sides... You're the best.
Show both rosy and thorny sides.
Great vid mate, can't wait for him at Chels
Retuned this video now that he’s a blue 💙 think he should play in a double pivot with Caicedo for Chelsea with Enzo playing a bit higher. Caicedo and Lavia are both press resistant with dribbling and linkup play (Caicedo as a DM, Romeo as the DLP). And Enzo being the 8 as a connective tissue between the midfield and attacking, our creative engine. Chelsea has been reborn!!
Him and Enzo actually Caicedo played 8 at Brighton so that settles it.
Came here to watch Lavia analysis.. But fell in love with Enzo Le Fee! looks like a baller!
Thoroughly enjoyed!
Just discovered your channel. So much better that the other "Welcome to X club" videos.
This channel is SO SO GOOD
Lavia is a DM/6 should have compared with other players that strictly play 6, this has skewed the stats. The others in the video more predominantly play no8 except Enzo (Chelsea would get more out of him as a no8). Le Fee, Camavinga hardly ever play 6, FDJ has done more this season but still spends more time at 8 in his career with a DM next to him.
That’s what is so impressive about Enzo, he’s doing this from a 6
@@miketheplaya2413that's why his numbers are low cause man played as a 6
quality and objective analysis....
enzo fernandez is a monster, dominates every category
He sure is. Once Chelsea find the right partners for him, they will reap their rewards
@@PythagorasinBoots could you do a video on Ugarte at Porto, I think he'd be great with Enzo but your videos are really the best thing I've seen at looking how good a player is

Stop waxing lyricals about Enzo In a lavia video... 😂😂😂. Nobody asked anyway
Scary how he was still 18 2/3 months ago. i think if the saints go down, he will leave for a bigger club. Excited to see how his turns out.

Great analysis I’m a subscriber
Please place ez abde on your list. Great work as always!
I like ur analysis. So impressive
Great vid. Ops on bajetic as I think he has the talent to be a top midfielder in Europe
Good video. Thanks.
8:05 great to hear you mention Kudus! He is a fantastic player who Liverpool could use, but you never hear his name mentioned after the WC..
Arsenal are interested mate
I'm more excited about this guy at Liverpool if it happen than Macallister or Szoboszlai, he is strong, fast and a great replacement for Fabinho along with great vision to pick out passes if Klopp decides to pop Trent back into RB... his over the top passes are made for someone like Salah to run on to.
Quality analysis
Enzo lee fee topped almost all the criteria displayed by your chart. Unreal baller
I appreciate your content boss, but will love u to add Enzo Lee fe and khephren thuram
Two months later it is rumored for Liverpool. Good job!
Would love a video on Dominik Szoboszlai. I cannot tell if he's as good as his numbers say he is.
Now he signed for Liverpool
Great content as always. However, I disagree on your comment regarding his dribbling/ball carrying ability. He plays as a sensible number 6 in possession which is why you don’t see good dribbling stats. He keeps the ball when under pressure and immediately releases it to a advance teammate instead of continuing to dribble which is immensely mature. He can dribble if he wants to as he is technically sound but he also understands his role and let’s the attackers have the ball once the opponents press is broken.
Bit confused by your point? We even put that the stats are misleading because eye test shows he’s an excellent press resistant dribbler who makes good decisions. Our issue with him at 6 is the defensive side of the game - not on the ball.
Please do Enzo le fee.
😂
Well said
Would love to see an analysis on Alejandro Balde
Could u do one for Florian wirtz please?
The most important thing from a DM that Liverpool need is someone who is very tactically aware defensively - someone who'll track back runners from midfield. We concede at least half of our goals from teams getting to the byline and cutting back into the 6 yard box where a runner has come through unmarked by anyone. It happened yesterday when Mac Alister was in that role, which is to be expected, he's not a DM. But it appears something a lot of people miss when assessing a DM. He needs to be be great positionally and tactically aware, especially as Trent is so poor at it. We need interceptions. Then at least we'll stop some of the goals we concede - the balls over the top is another thing.
Cant wait...this feels like a good signing.
What do you think of the midfield trio of Lavia/Enzo Fernandes/Caicedo? Does it look like the perfect midfield based on profile and potential or are they lacking somewhere (other than goal scoring since none of them scores many goals)?
Considering Liverpool’s midfield signings so far, not sure Lavia is the answer to the final CDM spot that’s gonna be left open because of his lack of defensive capability. Having said that if due to tactics it’s him and Trent who’ll be there shield in front of the defence then might be a good option.
Agreed.
As much good addition as he is for the midfield but for the CDM spot we still need one that is defensive minded.
Lavia is good. Very good but in terms of our immediate need for CDM to protect our fragile defence.. He is not the one.
chelsea signed him
Great channel
I need to subscribe to your channel. You are good bro
Lavia is like a young Thomas Partey. Similiar weaknesses and strengths.
Can you do an analysis on the King of Free Kicks, James Ward Prowse?
There’s thousands of compilations of his free kicks, but none that shows how good he is in open play. He adds so much value through set pieces alone, so why is he still at Southampton? Would like to a breakdown of his stats to see why, as he seems a pretty good player from the eye test alone.
Yeah I feel he deserves a bigger club
Great video We need olise video
How do you think he fits into a caicedo-enzo midfield?
lover not a fighter... well he is named romeo so i guess it makes sense haha
Just realised this now 😂😂
Pirlo was a mid range passer, now Xabi Alonso, HE was a long range passer
Do zubimendi please he’s been linked with Barca, arsenal, man utd and Chelsea
On the list
Doing an analysis of Abde should be interesting
Didi was truly one of the greatest to do it. Brazil have had great CM’s but I don’t think they’ve really had an 8 like him since
Paulo Roberto Falcao was also brilliant and Gerson. Falcao probably the last of that kind they produced before producing mostly destroyer types.
@@PythagorasinBoots I thought Falcao was more of an 8.5 but they’re comparable for sure. Gerson is one of the progenitors of the deep lying 6, arguably the best passer of that era. Their lack of ball playing 8’s from the 90’s on, have been surprising…
@@kranes0480 Gerson had a wonder of a left foot
Please do a scout report on dani ceballos and how he would fit in at man united
Thanks for the vid
Edit: do you have a Kone vid?
Not yet - added to the list!
You should do part two's on players you did from the past like Camavinga, araujo, and other players.
We don’t really go back on players unless there’s been a significant time period that has passed or in Bellingham case where it was one of the first videos I ever made so quality wasn’t great.
@@PythagorasinBoots can you redo one on rashford and saka
Please do one on Kauodio Kone
Please consider doing an analysis on Enzo Le Feé 🙏
He's bossing all stats eyy🤣🤣 defensively He's phenomenal
I don't believe he is the finished article yet and it's really a mistake if he goes to big club right now that demands a lot with no patience to long term progress but I think he's the type of a player that will find his game and reach maturity football wise in his early to mid twenties
do an analysis on how you think caicedo, lavia and enzo could partner up in midfield and pls tag me !!!!
Considering this guy is a cdm and mainly plays that role and that's the reason liverpool want him I think his shooting definitely is forgivable as they won't want him for his shooting ability
He's just AVERAGE❤
Always thought he was a seedorf regen. So similar
enzo le fee, a player man utd need to look at as they may need to add to midfield but also an upgrade on fred and young back up for eriksen. cheap and young but technical, he would do well for man utd.
adding ugarte to the team as casemiro back up should also be looked into
Please do Amadou onana
do one for Kobbie Mainoo
It's stunning for me to see how many Liverpoolfans are hesitant about Lavia because he wouldn't be "good enough", but hyperenthusiast about Mac Allister and Thuram.
I don't get it. Is it about that one wrong pass at the end of the season?
Or they are just better players? I don’t really see the lavia hype ngl
@@GoldenBoyDims Thuram's ball handling makes Lukaku look like Messi, so no. Also, Mac Allister's output as a 10 doesn't impress me much, although that's mostly due to his beholden playing style.
enzo,caicedo and lavia??
is it compatible
His crossing is honestly one of the worst I've seen. He sometimes fails to cross beyond the first man and when he does get it beyond the first man, it has no pace which is difficult for the attacker. No where near gavi level of crossing who I never taught of as a great crosser but, after watching your analysis, is a phenomenal crosser.
¿Que?
Gavi and Lavia are two completely different players why are they being compared
Lavia just needs practice. He has the potential when you look at those long balls.
Could do well in Klopp new formation in the pivot next to Trent. But would much rather someone like Kone or Luis
Would love luis
Would love to see a manu kone analysis
Will add to list
@@PythagorasinBoots tysm I appreciate your content
Waiting on Dominik Szoboszlai’s
An accurate and accomplished long passer with both feet? Santi Cazorla is one such rare beast, perhaps.
Please can you make a video for khephren thorum I want to know his ability can he joine liverpool
I have watched this video many times. I’m still unsure as to his ceiling. He’s 19 years old, is he worth 50 million that Liverpool are about to pay? Or is valverde/tchouameni (difficult spell) a better option, if Real would sell? Thoughts?
Please, do Ugarte.
Lavia as a 6 Enzo Fernandez as box to box 😍 COYB
What do you think if he played Partey role for Arsenal but had Rice to help give him cover at 8?
Please do Enzo Le Fee
Can you do something on kephren thuram?
The questions I ask myself is, did chealsea actually needed Lavia considered the fact that they have too mnay midfielders in enzo, conor, caicedo, casadei, santos, and not forget they play with two actual midfielders and an AM.?
If I may suggest something - start the videos with characteristics of the players - age, height, weight, preferred foot, position etc...
Cheers Alex will look into it
His basic running style looks awkward, with his feet out at 30° from Centre. Great analysis!
I was looking for defintions for the categories … does intergenerational mean to be among the best three in one position within two generations, e. g.? Does generational mean to be among the best three of one generation? And is a generation the time period of about 15 yrs?
Intergenerational is a player who was considered one of the best of their generation but also gets compared against the best of other generations and holds his own in those discussions. So for example a Thierry Henry. Roughly top 15-20 all time in their position but not top 5.
Generational, stands out in his own era but would struggle in comparisons to other generation's top players in those positions. I'd put a David Silva in this category as he would struggle to compare to the best CAMs of all time but was one of the best of his own generation.
Manu Koné vs Roméo Lavia? Tactical Analysis
Plz do zubimendi next
With a better team and manager, he could become better, this is his breakthrough season for a relegated bound Southampton, so, who knows he could turn out to be like Thomas partey

But I can see an Obi Mikel in him forget about the goals..he is going to be so so crucial in the middle park
Ok can see why Liverpool is persuing. With already persuing mac alistar and Dominic (still learning the last name lol) he lavia may work. Also have a bench like player fabinho thiago hando
I hope Diogo Costa is somewhere in the works too 👀
Chelsea fan here, been watching videos of Lavia after Liverpool hijacked Caicedo.
We seriously need an excellent defensive midfielder (6), but I've been seeing that Lavia is more of a deep-lying playmaker that can sometimes tackle. We already have Enzo as an 8. We seriously need a defence-minded player.
Lavia is an excellent player by many metrics but his defensive stats aren't as impressive as Caicedo.
Finally someone who knows what they’re talking about. You actually called where he was headed. Impressive. You earned a sub.
