Enchanted was such a magical, beautiful song. I also liked Owl City's response song to it. Every encounter doesn't have to be romantic. There's beauty in enchanted encounters and acquaintances just as much as an epic romance.

Well fast forward to today, it aged. Not like fine wine, not like milk, it just aged. Our bean Adam has finally found love and wrote a song (Be Brave) about her in his last album. It wouldn't age like milk because it took a reasonable time to move on and have someone waiting for him

I feel like people forget she doesn't JUST write the lyrics, she also composes the song. Shes not just a lyricist but songwriter and people think that's mostly just writing the lyrics
Because as a songwriter & composer, it IS a difference. Yes a composer can write music but writing the notes & melodies is different from writing lyrics hence why the titles are their own separate entities and are rarely conflated unless grossly misunderstood.

He just talked about enjoying life, what nature has to give us, super cheesy love or his love for Jesus. Part of me wishes they'd been a thing. But then again, the fact that their relationship was nothing more than an enchanting encounter makes the whole thing magically romantic. Aw I actually started tearing up hearing this story about them. Enchanted is one of my favorites and the fact that she wrote it for him was really sweet
okay but honestly i tell my coworkers all the time how heartbroken i am that taylor and adam didn't get together. i remember finding all this out bak in 2010 and really wanting them to get together. the whole story was just so cute it even gave me butterflys. i would listen to a mash-up of their two songs on repeat all the time (that video is probably still in my favorites if i look).
to this day i still hold a torch for this ship and enchanted always takes me back to 2010

Owl City's rendition of "Enchanted" was the sweetest response to Taylor's song, I remember when it all went down! Owl City's version incorporated his signature blipping electronic cute -in -the- bedroom introversion that a lot of people even till this day overlooked. Course it would've been nice to have Taylor acknowledge Adam's musical response since its so rare since most celebrities would either kept things in the DL or the media would be leaking DMs. It was such a wholesome time in pop culture.
May i remind everyone that she actually released a perfume line with "Enchanted" and followed up with, "Wonderstruck"? For those who are curious both scents are sweet fruity mass appealing scents that would be great for young teenage girls!

I don’t really like Owl City’s music but Vanilla Twilight and Shooting Stars are some of the best, most purest and wholesome songs I ever heard.
Also the song he did was Carly Rae Jepsen was pretty good.
You can definitely check out All Things Bright and Beautiful, beautiful synth work there. I wish he can come back with full force in his new album, I personally didn't enjoy anything he released after Mobile Orchestra.

This has been my favorite song since it came out. I've been a Swiftie since I was super little (4th grade, circa 2008) and in 2010 it became my favorite song and has always been since! And Adam actually responded with a cover and he said he was enchanted to meet her, too

On Valentine's day of 2011, Adam released his cover of Enchanted with a change in the lyrics of the chorus to say "I was enchanted to meet you too".
But at the very end of the song he adds his own words singing:
