About a year ago when i started watching this show it was as i liked Amna and her views. I thought Hasan was annoying lol. To his credit he has converted me into really liking his hosting. He effortlessly connects with his guests (of all ages). He puts his guests at ease and the interviews have a natural flow. I really enjoy his interactions with his guests. I remember he was brilliant with the writer of jalan. It was a tough one.

I love Maya ever since I saw her perform in Aun Zara and Mann Mayaal. Her style and personality evolution is unmistakable. I wish Hassan you had also asked her about this. Is it self-led or collaborative learning over time, what conscious steps, etc.

Yumna is on another level probably just and only just behind Sabah Qamar. Yumna's intensity and versitality is out of this world. She actually makes her viewer cry with her. There's a reason why she's getting these roles. Although Maya is beautiful and very sweet and is good at what she does.
I think Yumna Zaidi is best . If u see her acting from last year there is very difference in every character.

I agree with Maya that we shouldn't judge a drama after an episode... I think we are becoming restless as a nation and we want the conclusion in 2 hours.. Dramas K ly patience ni rha... Writers b to 30 30 episodes likh dety hn... Phly just 18 episodes hoti thi..

Hassannn great interview! Maya is gorgeous and charming. She's right, no one should get typecast. Ek hi actor ko dekh kar even the audience gets bored. At least I do. Right now my favourite dramas are Raqeeb se and PSM, and I LOVE the cast in both dramas. Hoping they all get the recognition and praise (and ratings) they deserve.
I did understand what she try to say at the point of she not being diverse roles. I don't understand who is responsible but as far as Yumna is concerned about doing Romantic character with a bit novelish touch like Rakhshi, Mannu .Shr damn has nailed that too if anyone of you has watched Zara Yaad kar
Her character Uzma was one the best performed and written Romantic character lately ...(though it was a bit problematic at points bcz Khalil ur Rehman).
.but I again repeat it is one best Yumna's and Romantic character performance. You guys can also consider that drama for Haute Gold( After Dastaan..and ullu braye farokth nahi plz)😊

I agree , yumna is the best in whatever she does, , maya shouldn’t feel insecure, that’s how it felt, she always look pretty that’s what she does as roles, and even if you do slightly different it’s always the crying roles. So may be she should step out a little bit and prove that she can do more versatile roles. Before I watched the interview I was wondering why this comment section is going on about Yumna on Maya's interview. Ek chota sa example diya tha Maya ne🙄 I really admire Yumna, but SOME of her fans can be obnoxious which in turn kind of puts us off the actor... Which is unfair. Yaar tumhaare hi mulk ke artists hain, sab ko support karo, encourage karo. I'm Indian and I wish Pakistani actors got more recognition worldwide. But Pakistani log toh apne hi artists ko support nai karengey. Theek hai, you have one favourite actor, but why put down others?

Sajjal and Ahad have obsessive fans who go on about them ALL the time in every friggin place. But you are clearly being selective. Great and detailed interview...maya has some deep reviews regarding the stereotypes everyone is following in the drama industry. She needs to come more in dramas to make the difference shes talking about in society. Want to see her more as now films are out so dramas are the main screen nowadays.

She is right that when an actor does a good thing in acting they put them in box.. As Saba does strong character after baghi.. She should do a vulnerable character... Maya should do a strong character like mannat in cheekh
But that's upon an actor too that whatever margin they get they should show their talent...for example we saw some shades of vulnerability and emotional scenes in MANNAT too portrayed beautifully by saba

Maya Ali is just one of the best Pakistani actresses
She’s the most gorgeous girl.❤️
When she talks about stereotypical roles, she has also been the bubbly Manic Pixie Dream Girl in quite a few shows. Loved her in Aunn Zara but it got very repetitive later until she did Mann Mayal. Even in a great show like Diyar-e-Dil her role had more depth but also kept reminding us of her older roles.
PSB is great, but is "filmy" for so many reasons. Pak dramas are more about scenes that form a relay connecting to each other, instead of whistle-worthy independent scenes, but the latter is the case with PSB.
Maya is not only good actress but an intellectual, very modest soft spoken clear hearted and she knows how where and what to speak, this drama is going towards climax love Maya, from Punjab India!!!

Maya says bachpan se kaam kar rhi hoon. On the other hand she says she debuted when interning whist doing her masters. You do your masters at around 20 thats not bachpan. Women in showbiz should embrace their age.
