People are simply jealous of him that he has such great looks yet act so well. He has such a good mental level and intelligence in comparison to other actors.
Sheheryar's interview made me realize that critics need to watch a drama more carefully, notice the fine details of a character for which an actor puts lots of effort, and then bring them to the notice of average viewers.
They themselves are average. Don't know a thing about how to review content 😑
sheheryar is, in accurate terms, a hardworking perfectionist and that is what his insight on pehli si muhabbat shows. blown away by the effort he put into aslam's characterisation, his mannerisms and nuances, which have clearly translated well on screen, definitely deserves credit where it's due :)

It was wonderful watching the interesting conversation between Hassan Chaudhry and Sheheryar Munawar... I couldn’t understand why Sheheryar was so embarrassed and apologetic about his role in Zindagi Gulzar Hain, because despite the brief appearance and the 14scenes that he mentioned, he had made a very strong impact and had won so many hearts playing the role... Hope he keeps doing good work...
pehli si muhabbat is one of those dramas that you read a lot in between the lines, and isn't as straightforward as it seems. Sheheryar has done an outstanding job and he is so versatile and distinctively different in every role. refreshing to see an actor so passionate about his craft
Osama was loved in zindagi Gulzar hai , he was so well mannered and so balanced ...I sometimes wished that the kashaf would end up with him but he did not wait💔💔

I remember his drama Asmano pe likha with Sajjal Ali. He also performed so good in Zindagi Gulzar hai and now in Pehli si Muhabbat.

We loved Osama in Zindagi Gulzar hai. Don't know why he's disappointed with his performance in it. Maybe he wasn't polished at that time but it honestly worked. It had an impact.

I don't mind this kind of nepotism at all..
On the contrary his connections(his aunt) did him more harm than profit. His displeasure of working under her channel and with her (lack of) support was quite evident. But the gentlemen that he is, he did not even once give out any detail about the sour relations between him and his aunt.
After going through the grind specially when you don't need to, defines your character as a person and it is only justified to own one's success and feel proud of it.
However he still maintained his humility and mocked at himself by referring to 2 rupaiye ka heroism. Sign of a generous, self made and a highly confident yet humble person.
He is extremely grateful and considers his art and his teachers above all.

I second this. Please interview Wahaj Ali. Especially after seeing him in Ishq Jalebi, I think it is overdue....he has impressed the viewers with his excellent acting in GPM, DNUTN, Ehd e Wafaa, Mah e Tamaam and many others....we deserve to hear his stance on many of his roles.

It really matters how you talk about yourself to others. If you doubt yourself, people will doubt you. Zindagi gulzar hai may not be your best performance but it was definitely a good performance. So please be proud of yourself. And Hassan even if somebody was not good, it is better to not discuss it so many times. Especially in situations where he was not bad at all.
Also, I liked the interview. Yes he didn't seem overtly excited, but may be that is how he is. May be he didnt want to act and just be normal. But yes his 'normal' is little brat-ish. I hope with time his acting will make him more humble and less bitter. But I do get it that people get bitter when their hardwork is not appreciated.
I can totally relate with Sheheryar, most people think that that one should understand a task only that much that is required to do their part, but there are people who need to understand each part of a task in order to do their part perfectly. I'm just like this so I can understand Sheheryar's frustration when people were not explaining to him the A-Z of acting. He's lucky to find a person like Asim who did that by being a patient and helpful mentor and now, Sherry is satisfied with his work and enjoying it too.. this is the problem of perfectionist people and not everyone can understand it..

My niece was in high school in America when ZGH was on air and one of her gora friends started watching it with her. He loved it so much and his favourite character was osama. He would get on the school bus in the morning and shout I’m team osama after every new episode!! My niece always got so uncomfortable being brown and the character’s name but the gora friend was oblivious and kept on supporting Osama all through the drama 😂

I think he is a hard worker and i am someone who used to think that this boy doesn't have that x factor and his skills aren't just there mainly because i watched him alongside Fawad and i compared Shehryar with him but his recent performance has changed my perspective about him. Hard work can give you that elevation. I think he still has a long way to go. He needs to work more especially on tv

watched ZGH again. what made sheheryar think that his acting was awful. actually he could take fawad khan's place. for a college student fawad looked over aged. sheheryar we really liked you as osama, a happy go lucky college student. you are an excellent actor, watching PSM only for you.please do not underestimate yourself.

I can totally understand his circumstances when you wanted a guidance and no one is there for you its tough! One can forget everything but the things like these always struck in our minds anyhow or other! Although that was the story behind of zgh but through out drama i really liked his acting as Usama literally he performed really well! "All that glitters are not gold"

Also he goes on like being attached to Maya is a bad thing but he did 3 movies with Mahira and had no problem. Also the movies with Mahira were no were as good as PHL. I get it he wants to work with others but it doesn’t make sense for him to comment that after PHL he didn’t want to really work with her.

He was in an accident and he was on bed rest which has inevitably made him gain a few kilos. Nose changes when you gain weight. Its okay, he will be back as a hottie when he is healthy enough to hit the gym!

The only thing good in ‘Zindagi Gulzaar hai’ was Osama’s character. He was kind and progressive. Fawad’s character was a typical misogynistic. And do not make me talk about the heroine’s character. She had no self respect. How come you will fall for someone who always insulted you? How come you wouldn’t choose Osama who was always good to you?

It’s an honest confession that I never liked Sheheryar Munawar! Neither in PHL nor in HMJ(even though his performance was good but somehow I just didn’t like him) but he has won be over totally after this interview - I am a fan for life now - what a terrific work ethic and what a smart intelligent actor with a lot of integrity - and that makes his so admirable -

Its wonderful to see how our young actors are so in tune with their characters and make such a huge effort to make each character unique and individual.Shehyaar has the charm and good looks the likes of Shashi Kapoor was famous for.His portrayal of the lovetorn Aslam is brilliant .He is certainly one promising actor who adds both glamour and talent to our industry..
