If Jammy would grow his hair a little longer, both him and Anupama will look like twins. 👀
Haha, I just cut it recently! So making sure that metamorphosis does not happen haha
@@TriedRefusedProductions i was thinking to cut my hair the other day as well brother :)
@@PrayasRahangdale plse dont, untill u got split ends r too much hair fall dude 🙌🏻🤗
Bhai anupama teri dadi ki age ki h 58 saal ki h 😂 jammy itna budha nhi dikhtta h
Actually, if Jammy had little bigger eyes, he will resemble Bobby Deol (in his late 20s, clean-shaven) more closely!
Bro went from giving interview to anupama to interviewing anupama, damn proud of u ra macha rei🤙🏻🤗✌🏻💕
thanks macha. She's super cool and has stories for days so I had to share it with all of you!
Are you a tamilian....still interested in hindi cinema ?

This was lovely! Wanted this interaction forever because no one else would do it, talking about the inside world of reviewing films
Thanks jammy!
52 minutes just went by. It was such a smooth interview. Just two movie fans talking about movies and the business. You absolutely killed it Anmol! ❤
I am so glad you loved it!
'The Front row' on Star World was where I first remember watching her. I was instantly in awe and admiration of her knowledge and understanding of cinema.
After all these years, despite my disagreements with her film reviews, I find her fascinating and sagacious.
Even after constant online hate and negativity, she still stands tall among the film reviewers today.
You can feel that Anu ma'am is speaking so freely with you because of your honesty in your work.. you are not that aggressive gali galoch reviewers who would say anything to get some views.
each to their own honestly. But I am glad its led to the interaction being more free flowing :)
@@TriedRefusedProductionsplease relax ur hands especially. I understand you're nervous but we constantly seeing you moving ur hands rubbing them together
This pairing is so awesome in so many ways. The bridge between old Bollywood and new, the different perspective and still sharing absolute love for cinema is a treat.
53 seconds ago is diabolical. But I love how you're growing as an interviewer. Kudos to you
Now, you’re watching ‘The Early Take’ with Anmol Jamwal and Anupama Chopra.
This is SO MUCH FUN!
Jammy, I really like your manners, your respectful way of addressing Ms Chopra very appropriately as ma’am to reflect her experience and seniority and allowing her the opportunity to talk. Well done! Great interview!! 👌🏾👌🏾
Her interactions with Diljit as well! Such mutual affection for each other which reflects in those interviews ❤
I read Anupama's book on 'Sholay' and it was just incredible. It gave such great insights into the making of the greatest Indian film ever, that my love for my favorite film grew even more. She is amazing.. her knowledge and passion for cinema is unparalleled, and she is one of the last few authentic critics left in the film criticism/analysis space.
Yes, she is a part of the "Bollywood" ecosystem and I do disagree with her numerous times, but still respect her the most when it comes to her work and her personality.
She won a NATIONAL AWARD for the book.
It's not the greatest Indian film ever.
@@UselessBurneeyou won’t get it bro. You need to feel the journey of cinema in India from V Shantaram to this era.
@UselessBurnee To me, and millions, it is. Although, cinema is subjective.. Sholay's achievements have not been sarpassed by any film to date. Sholay is a cultural touchstone.. even Satyajit Ray's films have a limited audience. Sholay is beyond any film ever made in this country.
@@user-hp1yj4pm2t Bro, Sholay is a shameless and an unoriginal remake of Akiro Kurosawa’s cult classic “Seven Samurai”. Hollywood (Magnificient also remade this film 15 years before Sholay was made. Sholay is closer to Magnificient Seven than Seven Samurai(for obvious reasons). Anyway, the point being, if an unoriginal movie like Sholay is the magnus opus of your industry, I really don’t have anything to say…
thank you very much Anmol for doing this interview with Anupama mam because I have never seen a full length interview about her
18:40 Madhuri and her exchanging Skincare tips is fabulous 😂
Exactly because I grew up admiring Madhuri Dixit’s beauty and never once noticed her ‘bad’ skin 😁 nice little inside info there
I have seen you grow over these few years and honestly I am so proud of you. Your reviews doesnt always align with how i feel about a movie but I can always trust your reviews. I know you are being true to yourself and your passion. There are select few reviewers like yourself these days. Please always keep this level of integrity.
33:38...Mr. Vidyut Jamwal..world's no.1 martial artist 🤣🤣

That interview was very strange tho lol

The person Anupama referred to at 33:50 is Vidyut Jamwal 😂. That was an actual bizarre interview lmao
Yay! Highlight of my day. Jammy and Anupama ma’am together. I always felt someone should interview her in depth.
Great interview. Admire your channel. One of the honest and original channels about movies and it's craft. Keep doing the great work.
Ur good bro!! Seen ur growth over the last few years and best of luck for the future
Can't thank you enough for this. Much love to you both.
Thanks for doing it Anmol. It's always wonderful to hear from her. I started watching Film Companion & your channel around the same time in 2017-18, and it's such a dream come true for you two to collaborate.
I absolutely loved it.... Great job
Beautiful interview ❤️ very insightful and Anupama is so charming and articulate :) great questions as always!
Love her principles and work ethic. She conducts herself with so much grace and depth. Surely, many times I disagreed with her reviews, but when the intent behind the work is pure, it doesn't matter even we differ.
This is an insightful interview, thank you Jammy!
Loved this interaction!! Thank you Anmol for doing this interview with Anupama. Anumapa is such an institution in film journalism.....her experience is just so varied, so eclectic and so expansive that it's so fascinating to listen her talk about her journey. More power to both of you!!
Such a great Interview!! Thank you guys 😊
This whole interaction went by like a breeze and a major part apart from the camaraderie is the geniune honest lovable personality of Anupama Chopra.
Really interesting interview. Can't wait for more.
I am SO proud of him.....love and respect from Canada👍
I am 'enamored' by the 'longevity' of the Interview for coming times.
Such a pleasure to watch Anupama ma'am interview😊. Anmol you rock everytime you come to the camera💖
This was delightful! So much wisdom and learning that everyone can imbibe. Thank you :)
So organic and free flowing interview.

52 minutes just went like this! What a great interview! You guys should really think of a podcast..i would love to listen to you both just talking for hours
Such a lovely interview. I didn't skip or watched in X2. Thanks for introducing us to this side of Anupama Chopra's side❤
Well done! This felt like a masterclass with Anupama Maam. Her grace and dignity brought a level of credibility to film reviewing.
This is my favourite people talking about cinema.. love to sit with you someday❤
Honestly I could watch this conversation for another hour
Such a wonderful interview. Anmol was so respectful throughout and asked relavent questions. Anupama ma'am was so honest and down to earth.
RGV’s impact was long lasting and still has an impact. Anurag Kashyap, Sandeep Vanga Reddy, and many others, their blockbusters do have so many traces of RGV.
50:12 OMG SO THE REDDIT POST WAS TRUE
ooo this is going to be interesting!
Great interview man! Very engaging !
Didnt see this coming..❤
Being a fan of both, i believe this 52 mins is going to be a lot of fun..❤
Anmol i hope u interview Baddy sir too, that would be epic
seeing a Master interacting with a Student is all I'm waiting for, hope that happens soon..❤
Want a podcast of Anurag Kashyap, Anupama and Anmol discussing cinema.
Nice Interview. Anupama chopra has very good personality and communication 🎉
Jammy, even if Ms.Chopra is exploring up new horizons, i hope you both can still find time for the late take. it is one of my fav videos on CZcams. I always click on the play button when I see a video with both of you together. Like many others said, almost an hour of this video passed by like a breeze. @Ms. Anupama Chopra, even if you are starting with Hollywood Reporter, I got used to seeing you a lot on CZcams. Please keep your interviews and reviews coming, no matter who you are working with.
I remember her interviews with the Kai Po Chhe team, and especially the Kangana Ranaut interview that blew up and made her cool because she spoke her mind and sounded like a free-thinking independent person, before Queen. Anupama Chopra had reasonable interviews that were not just star-flattering superficial PR chats, without the catty tension of Rajeev Masand and she was the first person who had very humane discussions with actors as an equal, asking them to speak their mind and thoughts more
unexpected crossover loved itttt🤩
Not unexpected. They do segment together in her channel
Anmol dont listen to these trollers calling u samosa critic..u r a genuine one and to interview anupama mam is such an honour ..and thanks for doing what u do
Jammy this is such a beautiful conversation. You are just awesome. Loved every bit of this conversation. And obviously Anupama has so much to share. She is opinionated but never rude. This is a gem.
Loved this one!!
Awesome discussion. Also time to get into marathi cinema. Some of the movies are really good.
This discussion was long overdue 🥳. Proud of you Jammy , my buoy 👏👏👏
Very fun episode, i can listen to her for hours.... At around 34.00 she was talking about Vidyut Jamwal... I got it 😂
What a great & insightful sit down with Anupama Chopra! One generation sharing experiences with a younger one was good to see. May you Keep your work & integrity going for long. ❤ from 🇬🇧
4:56 I have this dream that Anupama Chopra and Farah Khan organise the 50th Anniversary of ‘Sholay’ event.
A BIG APPLAUSE FOR 21:35 question because its true that whilst today the troll culture is crazy, earlier days were even crazier due to those magazines!
What a beautiful beautiful conversation......this is the closest to the quality of interview that Anu is a master of!
So glad to see Jammy taking the baton forward. Pls pls pls do more such interviews Jammy..I was a subscriber till now but now I am a proper fan of your work!❤️
What a wonderful interview 👍🏽💕
This interview is inspired by Simmo Chandok and Ujjwal’s video to disclose old Bollywood secrets but AC is too uptight to disclose any juicy gossip. Boring!
Loved the interview, anupama, I feel like I also grew up watching your shows,, front raw and all.. u r a great interviewer, specially cz 1, u fo research about the actor and work before, 2, u always let them shine even the newest stars,u listen to them and try not to overshadow them.. Good luck to you..
And tried and refused ,,, interview was great, I think u have to do more interview s like these... ❤
Love from srilanka
33:25 which actor they are talking about?? Vidyut??
I think so
Sandeep Reddy vanga ke baare mein bol rahe hai
Rohit shetty who came with ajay devgan and started criticising her
33:21: Anyone know what interview this was? Was it Salman khan?
Long way u have come and us as supporters couldn't be more happy
Need more episodes like this. Amazing content
Great interview and line of questioning. But I kept getting distracted because Anmol you look very handsome, nice hair style and outfit 💯
One of the best conversations/interview ever😍😍😍
Lovely conversation 😊 Anupama is truly gem in this field, she has a class in her interviews & work she does 👏👏👏 very much needed
Anupama, having a husband who works in the industry, and lives in such close proximity with the artists, meeting regularly with the stars on a personal level, she can not and should not separate art from the artist, she knows the artist personally and has to treat them according to what they actually are (not during an interview though), whereas interviewers who’s personal lives do not entangle with the glamour world and the common people, who don’t have anything to do with the star, we can just enjoy their work and not care about their personal lives , unless of course if it’s sooo bad that you have to hate them, like for example if they have murdered someone, abused or raped someone, or they constantly incite violence and hatred, then even if their art is good, you cannot support the artist
Great interview. Thanks
A person who laughs like that is a genuinely happy person.
Thats it
I just got to know Anupama won’t be doing any more interviews on TFC. Feels like the end of era man. I felt the same way when TFR ended.
30:05 : about 'Sandeep Reddy Vanga interview' ;)
If you are talking about her smiling through the conversation calling the other's bullshit, you must know that Sandeep Reddy was the one calling her bull shit and not the other way and her smile was to mask the scar
@@saikalyankonduri3315 kya bol raha hai? 🥱
Nope they are not referring to that one I think coz it’s already highly talked about - they would have just taken his name
@@shakksaikia7643 it's clearly written in the timestamp. In earlier half of that portion of the podcast, maybe. But later on, they talked about the vanga interview as well. The film companion thumbnail is clearly shown on screen, watch again.
So happy for you Anmol. You are such a joy and happy to see you go from strength to strength
Thanks buddy for interviewing the best interviewer of all time
Great interview!
26:45 Anupama dropping truth' bombs 👌🏻😂
Beautiful interview ❤
Thoroughly enjoyable and insightful interview.
I felt like crafting a story on that poison pen lady journalist - Devyani Kodibal and how her overkill mode destroyed careers/ family lives of Film stars of yester years. It is a fodder to make an interesting bollywood film, something like Dirty picture. Power to you Jammy. Kp it up! 👏
Wow! Unexpected! Thanks.
