as much as i like how physically attractive he is, after every interview i see of him i am in complete awe of his demeanour. i mean he has that calm aura, he is so well spoken. he knows what to say and where to stop. so refined. so passionate about what he does, he is appealing to the eye and so much more attractive when he is talking.
attractive yes, even in ZGH, but one thing i have noticed sadly that in both bollywood and in pakistan all actors and actresses have taken skin lightening injections. noticed the al y sisters - so much lighter than before. so many more. i find this kinda sad...
@@gmail7894 Fawad Khan hasn’t, and still looks gorgeous , the other darker shade handsome actors are Humayun Ashraf, and Omer Shahzad!
Lol people who r crazy for celebs seems very weird
@@ghayazali660 how do you come to the conclusion she or anyone is crazy for a celeb, just because they gave a nice comment to one?
I'll be honest, always found Sheryar to be just a decent enough actor and star, but watching the stuff he has directed, I gotta say that he is a gifted director. The way he has explained his vision, his wholesome understanding of such a complex topic, I'm so impressed. He should direct more, maybe even the stuff he acts in, because so far, none of his work in front of the camera has done justice to how intelligent of a person he is.
Sheheryar is such an intellectual person and his thoughts are so deep and inspiring he needs to do more interviews and Rabia you are a real sweetheart who knows how to balance a conversation.
How is Shehryar so wise at his age? Blown away by his perspective on life and relationships.
On paper bollywood is a big industry but i haven't seen a young actor talk about art or cinema in this sense Pakistani art industry is maybe small but they're taking big leaps and making their mark and I'm so glad it's happening
one of my favorite pakistani actors! he’s so well spoken and definitely quite handsome
wish he did more projects
Petition to release this episode as a podcast on prime music 🤯
PS - Now I am obsessed with Shehryaar's Hair flip 😁 Love from India ... 🇮🇳❤️🇵🇰
OMG! Shehrayar - you talked about Jane Austen! What a fabulous fantastic interview, Rabia!
Ma sha Allah he's soo intelligent and very well spoken. He has knowledge about everything. But I've seen that some hotss get bored while he's talking because he has so much knowledge and he wants to share that. I totally get him. Sherry is love.
Uff what a package of good looks, good thoughts, sensitivity and sensibility!! One word to describe him is WOW ❤️
From Bangladesh, lots of love and dua for Mr. Sheheryar Munawar Siddiqui. I love you man. I've fallen in love with your every thought process. You're such a humble, vocal, handsome practical and an intelligent gentleman, Mashallah. Truly enjoyed your every words.
After reading all the comments I just realised that its not just me inspired by his personality he is A real gem❤❤❤
He is a Gentleman. What a clear perspective about women empowerment about urdu language about poetry. He had a pure soul and he is a great story teller. I enjoyed a lot this interview 🙌
I have never seen someone having such depth of emotions and articulating tjem as well. Thankyou for this discussion. It felt better seeing it coming from a male side.
Wasn't expecting this interview Sheheryar is a genius it was a treat to watch thank you Rabia and Fuchsia 💗
It's great how come man is so tuned how to relate with woman feeling and how to mke her strong...love his explanation how he chose to show women feeling after that..moment of courageous..very well put..
MashaAllah Sheheryar is such a beautiful human being. An amazing actor, an outstanding director and a fabulous entertainer.
What a sophisticated thought process Sheheryar has. Thank you for speaking up so candidly. I totally loved and related to Mashaadi video.
What an intelligent and articulate person he is.normally,u dont find such great brains in showbiz industry.

OMG. Such a wonderful person he is and such intense thought process he has. Very calm and deep. Enjoyed a lot.
He spoke so passionately about his work and thought behind what he wanted to do. Well done. Good looks, and even better brain 💗
After listening full conversation I just say proud of you Shehryar Sir for sharing your thought process with us. May Allah bless you with all the happiness you want.
Thank you sm Rabia for bringing over my fav. He's extremely talented but very underrated. He's the most good looking hero we had in our movies and dramas. But Alas! He's not doing any movies rn. But khair I was waiting for this interview from a very long time.
Amazing, really really amazing.
I've seen, Shehriyar's interview, then I watched mashadi pausing the interview. The way you pick the most imp topic in best way in shortest time.
I loved that he mentioned Jane Austen! Well read too!
Talking about gaslighting is so important because in the first place 95% pakistanis don't even know what it means let alone understand its depth. That is next level emotional abuse which you can't explain in words to anyone. Only the sufferer knows.
He is so intentional in his words, great interview! Also props to the interviewer as well
Finally sherry is here ❤️ thank you for conducting this interview Rabia ji
Amazing actor who seems like a good person. Insan aachey hona chahiyay. Allah bless him

This is great conversation, Thank GOD someone talked from the Mens side as well, Domestic abuse is a two way problem, not gender specific.
As he is talking and every piece of his words tell us about his struggles and experiences that make him that serious and mature ufff love it ♥️
What a thoughtful person he is... ✨🤍
His laugh is sooo cute omg 💕💕
Why can't more pakistani men be like Shehryar Munawar???? WHY???
This interview was the shortest until now on fusion . Yeah it was more than hour long but it felt like it was 10 mins long . It should be longer .
So young and so mature- intelligent, talented and handsome too ❤
What a true conversation Rabia! ❣️Farhan Saeed's interview please as he came in Mere HAMSAFAR, Badshah Begam, Suno Chanda, prem Gali, udaari 💓💓
Also the way he sang Suno Chanda ost also the coke studio song with Quratulain Baloch Dekh tera Kia.
Well done Rabia for doing this interview!!
Mashaadi is a wonderful film speaking for women to respect their self and to take a stand for themselves, However, there are issues with this film and the issues are very real . The girl belongs to a family that is in a position of economic surplus (rich / well-to-do) and hence easily enjoys acceptance from society for their actions. It is just not easy for girls in families from the lower strata....or so society continues to think. It would have had more impact had the girl been from a lower middle income family and the society surrounding that family had shown scorn for the abusive male. Change in this strata is the one most necessary to change society in the longer run. Te moneyed find it easy to bend rules, whereas it is the not-so-privileged that require the boost from such films to change their pattern of thinking.
I guess since it was an ad film and it was supposed to be visually appealing (like he said in the beginning of the video that he had to work within some boundaries) he couldn't show the class that you are talking about.
Firstly, talking to our artists about particular topics of interest or social issues in a broad sense is a really nice idea! We are so blessed to have such thoughtful, humble and well-educated actors in our industry and it is always fascinating to hear them speak. Congrats to Fuchsia for coming up with it and to Rabia Ji for guiding such a wonderful conversation.
Secondly, Sheheryar Ji is a joy to listen to. I really like his acting and have enjoyed everything I have seen him in. However, I think that he is a next-level director. I loved Price Charming and Mashaadi. I think the future of Pakistani film is bright indeed if people like Sheheryar Ji stay in it. I am curious about a few things that he has expressed.
1) Men and emotional display - I am struck by the sheer amount of emotional display by men in Pakistani dramas. They are always crying! You don't see men crying in western content at all!!! Zaiyada, se zaiyada mard ki anhkon me paani aajaye ga. So how is it that men in dramas cry all the time but the men in Pakistani society don't have permission to do so?? I come from a Pakistani family and all the men in it must be very comfortable with their masculinity because they cry all the time! Even at the end of movies!! I thought all Pakistani men are like this, but you are saying no!!!
2) I agree men and women should be partners in a marriage, aik doosra ko gowd nahi layna hai. Both can work, both should share their joy and worries with each other and both should be adults in the marriage. A husband is not a substitute father and a wife is not a subservient mother. Your wife doesn't need protection from the good and bad of the world she needs to stand with you to help you face it. A wife is not a child, she doesn't need her husband to take her shopping.
3) Thappad- This is one of my favourite Indian films and I am not sure that I agree with Sheheyar's Ji's interpretation of the plot. I don't think that the wife was an abused woman who suddenly found her courage. She wasn't abused at all. Her life was monotonous and she was unstimulated in her marriage but there was no violence prior to the slap. To me, that was the whole point. Her husband slapped her for the first and only time at the party and she was saying he can't slap her, aik baar bhi nahi! It was her lawyer who was the abused woman who said 'bus aik baar thappad mara or tum chord rehe ho??? I thought the point was that she wasn't an abused woman and that is why she could stand up and say NO! on the first slap!!
Good job, keep calm, keep going,
Thank you so much fuschia for this!! Shehryaar has literally spoken my mind and i just knew k ye thappad movie ka thoda ziyada realistic concept hoga and i am glad they talked about so much!!!! Thank you
Just finished watching interview of shehryaz munawwar... This was so nice to hear him, I guess he's got more wise and intellectual as compared to the past...👏
Well... at the end you ppl discussed that 'koi na koi germ to chora ho ga ap ny listeners k liey' 😀 so the germ which I got infected with 🤪 is that 1 we must feel free to express, to convery our love, our liking to the concerned person... whether it's just a nice dress someone wearing or a good cooked food..
2nd the last one, realising all your responsibilities while marrying a widow.. its better to think well rather than to repent like the hell
Thank you too for bringing us a healthy talk ❤️
Very intellectual, impressive n intelligent talk. Never knew so smart.
I have never read so many positive comments about anyone else before. His thought process and expression is a worship In itself, and flow of words a poetry. His acting in kuch Unkahi and now Radd is top notch and shows maturity of a seasoned actor.Entertainment industry should be thankful for his presence.Stay blessed both of you.
It's an informative interview.Well said Sheheryar Munawar. I have never watched such an interesting interview.
Can anyone please please tell me Why maya and sheheryar unfollowed each other please tell?😭😭
well said sheheryar👌🏻👌🏻
Highlights very important point 🙌🙌🙌
Can you please tell me Why maya and sheheryar unfollowed each other please tell?😭😭
This dude is brilliant, and yet so humble, mA. I cannot believe it's Usama from zindagi gulzer hai!
Glad this subject came up🌟, also there is a difference between “performance arts” and “acting”, the rest, is well said, I hope he comes up with Gaslighting issue that many people are not aware of and it is also very commonly practiced in our country 😔.
How come. these days they don't make top buttons on shirts
Guys please let me know if dushmun episode 11 was uploaded last Monday.
Imran Abbas, him & Bilal Abbas Khan are the most eligible bachelors in the industry.
Great interview, I like him more now
Lots of respect for SM and applause for the intention, passion and effort that went behind this project.
I do want to point out one common misconception about men dying young and before females due to stress and lack of support.
While it’s true that desi men have a hard time expressing and sharing their feelings and problems, the reason for early heart attacks is purely medical. Women are protected against heart disease due to hormones in their child bearing age while men are not. Environmental factors like smoking, family history, lack of exercise and eating an unhealthy diet does speed up the process.
My humble request not to spread misinformation so men can work on improving their lifestyle by giving a break to women from making parathas and biryanis :)
When Shereyar said men are emotionally weak, it’s true
What a interview you conduct rabia nd kia zaberdast topic hai ap ne socially or responsibility k sath jo conversation ki with shahrayar munawar like abusive behaviornd physically torture, well done nd seriously I apology for my side k shahryar munawar ko le kr mere thoughts bohat change hove hain ,i admitted...well done rabia 👍👏lotz of respect and pray for you 😊❤
36:18 - 36:35 …very true , not all abuse is visible 💯
I like these interviews. But Volume of this show is very low. Cud not hear the interview clearly even at maximum volume of my setting.
He is such an intellegent man..
Superb interview
Great that Sherry connected Mashaadi to Noor Muqadam's tragedy as most young girls and sometimes even married ones need to see reality without the rose coloured glasses, and recognize a spade to stand for themselves. That's how and why dramas need to be more realistic with the conflict resolution, than be merely dramatic, in order to truly evolve the society in a positive way.
The reason that stories have always been written by moslty men and told by media men as well, the narrative told about women is often of infidelity and heart breakers or evil if independent, whereas in real life the opposite holds true esp in our part of the world.
A vast majority of widows and divorcees survive on their committment to raising the kids of their hasband, but society is not so kind to them. Whereas, men esp. widowers and divorced men marry again within a couple of years as they can't survive without females in their life.
Hope the next short play is about the lack of emotional intimacy and psychological wellbeing among couples from the perspective of both genders.
P.S: Wish Sherry starts buttoning up his shirt as decent men don't show their cleavage publically, just as modest women don't! ;-)
He is legend
Itni knowledge well done well well done
Love him appreciating Urdu
A.o.A idk.... Mjy kehna chahye ya nhi but ..... I think thissss was the best ever talk ......... Rabia api you have .... JazakAllah khair ✨♥️ much love 💕

Mashadi was awesome
please translate
Talented person he is
I want to start by saying something nice … Shehryar has a lot of screen presence and looks great on screen, he looks like a star. I also really admire his sincerity towards his work. Having said that, a couple things were off in this interview :
1. The fundamental tenet of movie making is “show, don’t tell” - the fact that he felt the need to go on and on about the nuances of his film just felt off, maybe misguided IDK
2. On the comparison with Thappad, Shehryar is wrong. The lead character in that movie is shell shocked when she’s slapped but she’s actually hurt by 2 things - her husband’s failure to acknowledge and apologise for what he did and her mother in law’s focus on people’s perceptions instead of the protagonist’s pain in the immediate aftermath of the slap. She tries and tries to go on with her life till one day a few days later things come to a head - even then, she doesn’t leave for good, just moves to her parents’ place for a break and then over time her husband’s continued callous (and sometimes cruel behaviour) precipitates her decision to end the marriage
He is so intellectual man.
You should have talked about prince charming as well 🥺
Prince charming is an absolute masterpiece!!
