Reddick

Some background: Reddick, bay gelding, foaled March 2013. Raced two times, won second race (this video). Auctioned off for US$ 25'000 at one point, but never raced again after this race where he's only two years old. Maybe suffered some leg injury? We bought/rescued him in early 2016 for ~$400 with a promise never to race him again.
He is a nice fella, not scared of anything (which is a bit of problem sometimes). He does some light trail riding, but mostly just hangs out with the other horses.

Such a shame that they race these horses at such a young age....there's so many injuries done to these horses, it's just not funny.

I think he is “winning” every day, he isn’t forced to run and live a life of misery anymore. He gets to live on this beautiful farm with people who understand what he needs. Doesn’t get much better than that!🤗
