I'd make a few framing suggestions
Also;
A young adult/teen male victim
Toddler Kyle walks in, and the parents giggle the same way they would if he'd walked in on them having sex. Mum calls out to an adult offscreen, reminding them that the parents are trying to do a special video project together.
Maybe toddler Kyle walks off with the camera, Mum in pursuit, and reminds the other adult. Babysitter apologises that they got distracted with the baby.
When Kyle opens the box the dad reminisces that he had to hide it from Kyle a lot because toddler Kyle liked to play with it. Dad remembers the first time, when toddler Kyle walked in "we were making a special home movie". Sister "OMG,Dad. You guys made a sex tape. That is so gross (etc)" Dad "Hey, who said anything about a sex tape" and then makes out with the Mum. Then your closer.
People mentioned that the banality of the kitchen situation was the most disturbing imagery/aspect
Combine the ordinary banality of the long established middle aged couple who PDA at home, with our insider knowledge, maybe chuck in the mum noticing Kyle's masked distress, which is explained away as pre-university nerves

I truly enjoy watching this horror - short, really so interesting, I was wondering 'how would you react, what would you do, if doing anything at all, does my sister know, anyway, I have to show her this (did I really saw that happening?!) tape, shit, that was a stupid place to hide the tape, I should hide it elsewhere.. And all these thoughts going through my mind as fast as a Japanese train.. Wow, great film! 🕸️

Omg! As Kyle struggled to keep it together, the banal normality of the parent's behaviour was ambiguously sinister and existentially terrifying! Absolutely loved this short, the concept is brilliant! ✌

I like the original story of this movie, it is something new and not the same stuff as in most short horror movies👍 I could really feel with the boy and was also scared a little bit when he was in the kitchen 😉

Holy shit when he was watching their tape I didn’t expect it to lead to that! Especially that both parents were in on it 👀 This needs a sequel and I can’t imagine how he must’ve felt when discovering this horrible shit; especially on his bday out of all days. 😭 I hope he’s able to give that tape to the police somehow 🙏 I’d love to see a whole movie about this! Definitely one of the short films that have stood out to me out of all the ones I’ve seen 🙌 Interesting, suspenseful, and original 😎🤘 Amazing job to everyone that was involved in this! 👏👏👏😊

Wow. That would be so hard, to just sit there and try to act normal knowing what they did!
This is an interesting one, I've never seen a horror short play off of the concept of "perspective" between the characters. If we cut out the entire middle section of the video we would just see it as a regular, wholesome family. But that big drop in context suddenly makes it seem two-faced. Absolutely phenomenal

What an amazing idea, and so well executed. I mean, what would you do in this horrific situation? One minute, everything is as you know it, all of your emotional attachments and memories make sense, your parents love you and there are no signs that they could be capable of anything close to this, and the next you're seeing the two people you love so much behaving in ways so completely far removed from what you've seen in them before. It would be so jarring because you still love them! I'm blown away by this film. The young man who plays Kyle did a phenomenal job, too.

Great story!! A fresh concept --- so happy to see that a monster doesn't jump out in the end to get somebody! Great job, great production!!
The moral of this story is two things: 1) Older people were once young people. 2) People are never what they seem.
The camera to capture the "best moments" is so creepy knowing the camera's old footage

This was truly amazing! The acting 🎭 💥. The turn this film took from beautiful nostalgic to horror of finding an hidden secret bout the most sacred relationship one can have: parents and child. Man, almost the irony of today’s world: (videotaping EVERYTHING 🎥). The quote at the beginning hits… WELL DONE! imma fan. Plz part 2 👍🏾

It was really good. The entry, the way that story plot was Finally Revealed kept encouraging the audience open up with their minds. I think what this reflects is mental depth in the director, story writer and the rest of the team.
Most importantly, the acting was not overdone. Nothing was excessively emphasized to the point that it makes everything like a joke to the audience. This reflects a lot of mindfulness people that might actually be watching. This is a good thing. I'll sue often people try to micromanage what an audience receives, the truth is, by letting go of this egotistic quick wealth mindset you actually create a refined product. Give an example of what someone should not do, is if you look at a bunch of these Star Wars fan film creators who put way too much emphasis on trying to put their own spin on things and exploit their own acting ability, that it just becomes people in costumes and it's no longer as the essence of Star Wars.
This film is very good.

Hands down the *BEST* short horror film I have ever seen! Absolutely brilliant! The concept that monsters don't always have a sinister outward appearance and hide in plain sight has never been so well done as in this short. The acting was fantastic! Very well done all the way around. I would love to see this made into a full length feature film!

His parents are psychos. They kept a victim (maybe more than just the one shown) in their cellar, tortured and killed it, and Kyle never knew about their dirty secret.

Kyle sure kept it together well! I wonder if both he & his sister somehow suspected things were not as they seemed? Not that the people they knew & loved were murderous psychopaths (Kyle clearly looked nauseated at the video), but that they were........off somehow? Because the sister acting so 'empty' & sad certainly made it seem that they knew all was not as it was presented. A sequel (or even a *prequel* to this) would be great. Good job.
