  • Jesus did not always answer people on their own terms. It's understandable that we won't always do that either. It's not an issue of being unprepared or unwilling to share truth but an issue of wisdom.

Mike, I'm a baby Christian. I just surrendered and was made anew six or so months ago. I just want to thank you for your ministry. It certainly assisted me in a large way to coming to Christ. I am an ex-JW, ex-New Ager, ex-Heroin addict, ex-progressive Christian. Obviously I've spent most of my life in confusion. It's thanks to God and spirit-led teachers like you that I've found the truth.

We do alot of street evangelism in the ministry I am apart of, we deal with plenty of mockery. I've learned sometimes people need to just let out their hurt, anger, and frustration towards Christ and you can be the vessel for them do it. After 5 to 10 min of them being crazy or snarky, you can often have a very meaningful passionate conversation with them Because they see the patience and passion you've shown to preach the Gospel to them. It's like God is softening their heart while they are venting out their frustration to you.

It makes me think of when the Pharisees came to ask Jesus a question in order that they might be able to twist his words. And He said to them if they would answer his question then he would answer theirs. The point was he knew they didn't have righteous intentions, and the point for us is to have regard for those who are seeking truth and righteousness. "Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest you be like him yourself." (Prov 26:4) "Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you." (Mt 7:6)

  • @Doogiecdog

If they ask with no sincerity of heart regarding faith in Jesus, why cast your pearls before swine!?

  • @frenzyviz6296

Mike you need to get rid of the financial trading scammers…. using Jesus for sin!😡😡😡(in the comments section).

  • @droe2570

It says be "ready" or be "prepared", not to always give an answer. There's a difference.

  • @keithmuller353

So many people say the bible is a myth or a fairy tale written by caveman. Wow are they in for a nasty shock?

  • @TheCreativeChica

I know someone who constantly challenges God and the Bible. They don't really care to hear the truth. I think they enjoy it when I can't answer their false beliefs. I've removed myself from them. I'm just tired of this constantly challenging behavior. They don't believe in God, so anything I say is challenged.

Always be ready to plant a seed of hope, Jesus will grow it.

There’s a big difference between being ready to give and answer and always giving an answer.

  • @karenhall4645

I had a friend who I used to try to witness to all the time. He would always come back with ridiculous excuses and counterpoints either trying to stump me or goad me into an argument.

  • @ariannablove

I've been there before. At my first job everyone knew I was a Christian. There was one guy who just wanted to make life hard for me.

  • @LocaChoca

Trolls could be a Matthew 7:6 situation: Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.

  • @mikecrees9715

I was once asked by a 16 year old student (as a a school teacher known to be a Christian) if I believed homosexuality was a sin.

  • @MicheMoffatt

Hey Mike! Lovely to see you back again. Praying for you and your family all just now ✝️🙏🏼

  • @chickintruth

Love the shirt! As believers, we genuinely desire to "win" souls and soften hearts, but sometimes we lose sight that it's God alone who does this; He does the work, through us and despite us.

  • @rachelray3250

Hi Pastor Mike, I just wanted to let you know that I’m praying for you with an empathetic heart. I know you have a family member who is sick. I recently lost a parent. While it was sudden and unexpected, the last moments were not quick. It was very difficult and traumatic to be honest. It still is. I don’t know the state of my parent’s salvation either, which adds an extra level of difficulty. I encourage you to share the Gospel if/while you have the chance, and whatever you can or can’t control, remember that God is sovereign, and God is also Good. Praying for your whole family, friends, and community. From my family to yours ❤️🙏🏼
