  • We're pretty proud to say that our own Drew Rohde played a role in the development and testing of these pads, so it shouldn't be a surprise that we absolutely love them! G-Form knew they were missing a more aggressive pad for riders or bigger travel bikes who like to go fast, ride rowdy terrain, and go big.
    The New G-Form E-Line mountain bike knee pads are easy to put on, wear all day, and will offer a strong sense of security.
    In this video, we sit down with Bill Rudell of G-Form to have him run us through the new pads, the features, tech, and who they're for.

    These pads are probably my favorite one that G-form makes so far. I think they really did an excellent job on them. Thanks for this inside look and 1 on 1 interview Drew

      Right on thank you! We absolutely love them. Although I may be a bit biased as I was lucky enough to help G-Form with lots of input and feedback throughout the development, so it makes sense I'm a bit partial to how they feel! haha.

    I sure love my G-Form X3s; they are comfortable. For downhill, free, and park I went with POC VPD 2.0 (also comfy). These pads might find a place in between the two.

    I recommend going a size up on these knee pads the websites sizing chart is off and their customer service is almost impossible to get a response from.

    These are very comfortable pads. However, was riding and my back tire slid out from under neath me on foliage leaves. Slammed hard on my knee. I was ok,and kept riding after, but the slam definitely hurt allot and knee was bruised for couple days after. These pads need a thicker EVA foam insert to absorb more shock. For now, I am going to my old skateboard knee pads. They are thick and comfortable, very light and I know if I slam, they will absorb the shock.

    They need 2xl options. Gforms tend to fit small and not everyone is 160 lbs.

      Dude, they’re legit. Sizing is also true to the chart, unlike their previous products.

    Could you wear these for moto? I ditched the Knee braces for pads.

    • @TheLoamWolf
      @TheLoamWolf  Před 3 lety

      Well that's totally up to you and the level of protection you want! if you look at the level of certification for impact and base that off what you consider "moto safe" theoretically you could.

    Hey, I'm a 16 year old college student, and I'm trying to get into some serious trail riding, but I just can't afford a full suspension bike, if you could keep me in mind at your next giveaway, that'd be insane!! I love your bike reviews btw, I find them very detailed and helpful!!

      Snuggly? haha. You're funny. This video was shot long before COVID was a thing and we've been waiting to publish it for nearly a year until the product was officially launched. Keep up the good investigative journalism work and assumptions though.
