    Hahaha! The contractors in the sedans are management! They don’t do the work, they handle sales, issues, and supervise. No manual labor necessary! 😊

    I started my gutter company with a SUV and trailer. Van would be nice but no shame in starting with what have with no debt. 👎

    We've been slow with work and I feel like it's because I show up in my CAR with no logo on the door, hat or shirt. The guys have the vans, trucks dump truck etc but 1st impression is for sure something I need to work on.

      You can sell from any vehicle but it’s much easier with branded company vehicles!

    This is funny , not biased at all lol . Great video
    I started in a Yukon moved to a truck and have a van as well !! I even sold some roofs on a motercycle with the telescopic ladder.

      @@RoofingInsights3.0 sierra 2500 diesel, crew cab, long box. I am paying about 1000-1200/month on fuel. But I put on 50k a year. The truck is the central tool of the business, so I don't mind paying for upkeep and fuel. Every tool needs to eat a healthy lunch!

    What if you have diesel truck and a few transit Van's lol. The guys out there working out of those big lifted trucks make no sense to me who the hell wants to jump up and down out of that thing multiple times a day.... a stock 2500 truck is too high stock in my opinion lollol

      I think it’s going to be a great family vehicle but I’m not sure it will cater well to the roofing market. The little vans seem to work well for light service work.

      @@angloblaxon yeah it’s not a service truck. It’s a great estimating vehicle along with the Ford transit connect but I think I’ll chose the maverick. Awesome for estimating and small repairs more than enough to look at jobs

    I don't know man.. if boss man rolls up to my job site while we tearing off in a lifted diesel, steps out with work boots on and Gatorades, and offers to dump our full trailer with his truck.......I'll give that man 20 of my best years🤣😂

    I knew I was the chosen one because I had a big lifted diesel truck before I got into roofing lol. I was meant to be a roofing salesman! (Sold the truck for a stock f150; ladder rack on top of a truck w/ a 8” lift didn’t seem practical).

    Some truths......but I disagree with you SUV opinion. Most contract deals are usually closed away from the worksite, and usually a good SUV will make a statement.

    Trucks are meant for a working man vans are for soccer moms do you really want a soccer mom doing your roof or do you want a roofer doing your roof ask yourself that before you consider taking this guys advice serious
