- Today we're welcoming Owen officially to our presenter team, and what better way to do that than going on a bike-packing trip with none other than Blake Samson. Blake and Owen aim to go on a local ride over two days to show you how great it can be to explore your local area. The goal is to bike from Bradford-On-Avon to Stone Henge and back stopping at some points of interest on the way, with the chance of meeting otherworldly beings.

Yeah i do it all the time around here in Wiltshire, not much danger at a quiet village pub of it getting stolen.
I always assumed Owen was on Tech because nobody had managed to make a helmet strong enough to contain his luscious locks.
As a side note, Owen’s Luscious Locks could be the name of a new video series where he rides the canals of Britain.
Or it might be a video about bike locks. You know, some luscious ones.

That was brilliant!. More like this please. Maybe a GMBN Tech video on the kit required to go bike packing on a mountain bike. Maybe something that would cover bigger loads if you wanted to camp out vs hotel stays. I want to go bike packing, but I don't want to buy a touring bike, or a gravel bike to do it. You rarely see videos about bike packing on a MTB. PS: More of Owen riding bikes! Such a great guy.

Great video, for me mountain biking is also about touring, bike parks are great but touring is just amazing for stopping off at pubs or finding hidden single tracks. Still so much better than being a roadie!
What a cracking ride, parents grew up around Devizes and Alton Barnes and I’ve lived locally over the years too. What an adventure and full of interesting oddities.
I used to live in Salisbury. Nice to see shots of my old stomping ground. Another oddity for Owen: the cathedral is home to one of the last original and best preserved copies of the Magna Carta.

Awesome video! It makes me want to go back to the UK. Salisbury Cathedral is one of my favorite cathedrals in all of Europe. I am planning a bike trip for western Colorado and Moab, Utah this year. ✌️

You need to look at the ISM saddles. Saddles are always a bone of contention, but the touring saddle is awesome. No mucking about with creams & you can ride for hours without discomfort.

I’ve stayed in many a Holiday Inn, through work, 4 a week all over the country. I’ve always been worried about my van being broken into and my tools being pinched.
Where did you keep your muddy bikes? I can’t imagine the staff would be too happy you rolling it into your room? And I’d be buggered if I’m gunna keep it outside where someone would pinch it 😂
