      We debated for a long time...sure wish we would've done it sooner! Really woke the bike up!

      Oh man, sorry to hear that! Where did you get yours from? Heard horror stories about a lot of suppliers which is why we went with Mikuni Oz.

    Nice bike , but i wonder if it might be a little snappier with baffles or shorty mufflers ?

    • @fleetwoodfabrication5248
      @fleetwoodfabrication5248  Před 5 měsíci

      Any horsepower gained would be offset by the weight of the mufflers....and we like the noise lol But it's possible that they would be beneficial. Personal preference lol Appreciate you watching!

    Hey there! Where those tt500 side covers a direct fit on your XS650? I think they look pretty slick and considering for my dirt tracker XS650

    • @fleetwoodfabrication5248
      @fleetwoodfabrication5248  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Hello! Had to switch them side for side and weld a small tab at the bottom. Then drilled a couple holes at the top of the covers into the frame, then used long small bolts to attach. So not a direct fit, but not too much work involved. Appreciate you watching!

    I bought them here in the uk what i want to know have you any idea what size jets you have in yours ie pilot main needle an what notch is your needle on please many thanks

    • @fleetwoodfabrication5248
      @fleetwoodfabrication5248  Před 9 měsíci

      Unfortunately the carbs came already set up, so not sure on jet sizes. We did set the needles at the leanest position. Maybe you could contact Mikuni Oz and they could help you out. Their phone # is 61 7 4771 2677 or you can email at tdh@mikunioz.com.
      Our bike also has the Hugh's Hand-built CDI PMA ignition and charging system and that helped it tremendously!
      Good luck!

      Thankyou only i thought they gave you information what jets they had put in the carbs in the package cheers

      No, they come complete. When you order them they even ask you what spec of fuel you'll be running so they know what jets and needles to use (US fuel is more like ood varnish than fuel lol).
