    Richard, beautiful work.
You are very lucky you can paint those larger canvas using lots professional paints with your enormous knife. The paints are super expensive coming on these larger tubes and cans. I barely can afford 30 ml tubes, lol I think I'll have to go by with 10 x 8" canvas and my tiny painting knives. But, really, you are always an inspiration.

Yum! Thick buttery paint! When you spread the foreground in initially, that colour just exploded! Love watching you in action, choosing colours, mixing, dabbing, blending. Ahhhh. And thank you for the trip into the Flinders. How green was that waterhole! It’s a privilege to watch you Richard. Another masterpiece. I hope you’re selling lots of your work so you can keep creating. Thank you.

Love, love..., LOVE your Palette knife paintings. The art work, you're instruction and the sounds of the knife scraping the palette and canvas (or board, but canvas sounds better :) is VERY relaxing.
I'll let you in on a little secret as to one of the MAIN reasons that BOB ROSS was SO popular, and it had to do with a little thing called, ASMR, which is a heightened sense of hearing certain sounds, and their effects on a person with it's, body (i.e. when you listen to certain pieces of classical music or operatic voices, and it gives you goose bumps and/or makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up and/or gives you a tingling sensation on you scalp or down your back, but in a soothing and relaxing sort of way).
It's kind of like how some people go to sleep with the sounds of nature playing in the background, it helps them to relax and feel good.
Mr. Ross new that some of his viewers watched him painting to relax, and would often invite people to either take out their easel and paint with him, or pour a big glass of ice tea and sit and watch.
One of the reasons I bring up ASMR and BOB ROSS, is because of the music you have playing in the background through out this painting, as it becomes a distraction and diminishes the enjoyment of the other sounds (i.e. your voice and the painting sounds) and was something that Mr. Ross never used on his show.
Upon searching around for palette knife painters online (or just paintings in general) I have found that most everyone seems to think that adding classical music as the only sound, is the way to go, but in most all cases it only takes away from the beauty of the sound of the creation of the painting process, thus robing your senses of the sounds associated with the creative process.
Granted, you're not drowning out the sounds of your painting with the music, but it does become more of a distraction then not.
I apologize profusely if my comments are taken as anything more than what they are meant to be, which is mainly to let you know that there are people out there that don't need musical filler to enjoy your amazing gift with a canvas, chunky pain and a large palette knife :)
Can't wait to see more, and thanks for all you do, cheers :)

The clean color you achieve is very attractive to this brush painter; gonna have to give it a go!
Meanwhile, few viewers will realize the sheer cost of this, just in paint- it may be ~5x what they’re estimating!
And the Belgian linen? Whew! Imagine.

Richard, another fantastic painting. While you were panning in close at the end, I found myself saying "nice" over and over. The depth and energy from the complex layering pays off big time in the overall effect. As you would say, painting is not about photographic realism, it's about emotional resonance. Thanks again for showing us how it's done.
