LIGHT CHASER // Capture LIGHT in your Painting / Studio Oil - Impressionism / complimentary colours!

- čas přidán 1. 08. 2020
- Today I'm demonstrating how to capture light in your painting with the use of colour combinations and tonal values. I will be using warm against cool (complimentary) colours to achieve a startling affect of light! Colour placement is the key to achieving those fleeting moments in time.
This demonstration will be done on a red oxide toned canvas, helping to achieve the desired result. I will be using Art Spectrum - an Australian brand - oil paint and palette knifes. These affects could be achieved with acrylic paint also.
Stick around and watch the painting develop as I explain my techniques and reasoning as I go!

Ричард, Вы продемонстрировали науку цветоведения на практике. При этом создали абсолютно фантастическое состояние. Правдивое и не реальное.
Большое спасибо!

Küldenek egy csodás álmot.

Ez nagyszerű költészet! Köszönöm!
Once again fantastic . I can never see a sun rise from a distant especially being nestled between mountains here in Canberra. This session reminds me of the mindi mindi plain just off Silverton in Brokenhill which made me cry for the shear beauty. On that trip the horizon was more than flat I could see the curvature of the earth- just beautiful. Thank you Richard
Glad you enjoyed it Patricia! I do love the Mundi Mundi Plains myself!

G'day Richard. Another creative sunset to stimulate the senses into how beautiful the outback is. I too love magenta, as a photographer it is a beautiful colour to balance the cooler tones and give a warmer feel when editing. You can only get that feel of the outback by being there or having experienced it and you bring that in spades mate. An enjoyable and learning experience once again. Cheers, Rich.
G'day CosMos Artistry, yes, magenta is a great colour! I just love the outback, there is a special energy there that is great for recharging ones batteries! Cheers :-)
Beautiful! You're gorgeous!
Hey many thanks 😊
And you said "now for something completely different." Now I may be old but it reminded me of Monty Python. Haha Thank you for the giggle

Awesome work as always, Richard. Can I request that you do some vids where the canvas fills the frame of the camera so that we may see what you're doing up close? Thanks, cheers!
Thanks T Bone! I’ve taken onboard what you said and will consider it! Cheers 🎨🎨🎨
