The synchromachine definitely has to be one of the best things the franchise has done in a long time, many abandoned it when they killed their shinys 😭, but it is clear that it is the most underrated mechanic of the DLC's (and it is only a prototype) and it has to come back to ZA only for videos like this.

This is the kind of content I need in my life. Also Meganium wins my heart, so delicate and steady, a very good walk. Most of the bipedal starters were consistently good which I think is a result of my human-centric world view. I will have to work on that and be better in the future 😔

I guess the hit boxes of Feraligatr, Torterra, and Skeledirge are too large to let them fit on the bridge. Despite all three looking like they could fit. Say what you will about the performance of SV. But the Pokémon models in these games are really solid. I like how expressive and charismatic the Pokemon are. Gives them more personality.
Gotta love how 90% of the pokemon that crossed that bridge proceeded to absolutely obliterate the trainer. Some of those attacks looked downright devastating too. Im pretty certain Skeledirge was about to deathroll him.
I’d say in terms of most model-esque in walk, I’d say Inteleon, Meowscarada, and Decidueye. Most professional runway walkers. In terms of personal favorites, Greninja, Incineroar and Venasaur: Greninja fucking slouches like a disgruntled teenager, Incineroar has that Dr. Livesay walk, and Venasaur is a beeg chonky friend who walks like a frog
These are also new animations as well as those for swimming and probably more if not all, since gen 7 only had the walking (normal pace) and running animations. This gen did wonderfully. It went back to the amount of work the other gens used to put (6 and 7), and even more as it should be.
Meowscarada for me, and maybe it wasn’t a walk as much as a slither but MAN Serperior’s was so satisfying to watch I loooove how smooth the animation is

All had pretty solid walks, though Greninja looked like they were sleepwalking. Alola: 5/10. Not bad once again. No further comment. Galar: 5/10. No further comment. Paldea: 4/10. Thought Quaquaval would have the best walk. Kind of a letdown.
I loved Venesaur. There was poise, elegance and a kind of lightness in the walk that you don't see a lot in models these days. Magnificent /lots of weird French sounds/

for the quadripeds i think meganium and rillaboom are the winners, while quaquaval and chesnaught do it for the bipedals. honourable mention to serperior who's in neither category but still looks quite elegant. dishonourable mention for the same reason but for primarina having to kinda drag itself. fire types were overall mid unfortunately, but id say blaziken and charizard were the best of them. its too bad about feraligatr torterra and skeledirge tho, maybe a different spot woulda been better. that said its unfortunate that there were no hisuian pokemon or nonstandard starters like pikachu or eevee(lutions) :(
