17:09 âI have a great friend who loves to pack her containers really fullâ lol, we all knew she was talking about Laura đ
... that's what I said!... đ€Łđđ©đŒâđŸđ =^..^=
yep lolll just wrote the same thing before seing your comment lolll
I thought the experiment Aaron suggested (one plant pots) proved how beautiful simplicity can be.
The rest of us don't have their resources.
Oh my!! So exciting!! You are the first to put out an actual âplantingâ video of annuals that I have seen. And although itâs still too cold here in Kentucky zone 6B, I thoroughly enjoyed watching you and gathering ideas. Love your channel Jenny â€ïžđŠđđžđč
My sister loves you and your channel. She loves your nursery as well. I am so thankful to find someone from our area NC. I can't wait to come to your nursery. Thank you for the sneak peek of Spring!!!đŠđ
Glad to hear you are opening!! Canât wait to visit !!!
Coming from Laura's! I have never thought to combine the tags to remember what I plant! That is a great tip Jenny! Thank you! đ
Good evening from Sydney, Australia! HUGE fan of both Jenny & Laura đ„° Happy gardening yâall đ»đșđȘŽ
I love those birdhouses đ thanks for giving us in the North a taste of and inspiration for Spring! Great tips!
I've been looking for the container recipes on proven winners and couldn't find them. THANK YOU for the tip đ
Happy to help!
Lol I think that friend sheâs talking about is Laura of Garden Answer LOLâŠ. She most definitely packs a lot of plants into one pot!! And itâs MAGNIFICENT!!!
Oh my can't wait for spring.
Received my birdhouse and itâs so well made! Love â€ïž it so much it is staying in my house đ€Łso I had to order another oneđ
Glad you like it!
Wonderful video. Thanks for sharing the recipe info đșđ·
My pleasure đ
Oh my !! Absolutely beautiful. I can't wait lol. Thank you so much for this awesome recipe
I live on the NC coast. I so wish your nursery was close enough for regular shopping. But we have Carolina home and garden, redfearns, friendly market, and pender pines. So thankful for those,
Very pretty arrangement in that blue pot. I tell myself that same big lie: Oh I'll remember that. NOT!
Didn't know there were butterfly houses and am no spring chicken, I have so much to learn am going to order some from hardwood. Thank you for keeping me inform.
Thank you Jenny for this brilliant video, great info as usual đđșđ
Thank you so much for that video đ€ absolutely loved it, Iâm in Minnesota right now and weâre up to our ears in snow âïžâïž so Iâm living vicariously through youđșđŒđž
great information... have a great opening day!! :)
Good evening.. Thank you for your tutorial.. sending full support
Thank you for the directions!!
Great video information đ
Morning to you! The video was very informative. I went to the website for the bird houses and I am going to order one of the butterfly houses. They are so darn cute. I love to listen to you explain things it brings a smile to my face. Have a wonderful weekend and good luck on your opening.
You remind me so much of myself and I love it! The birdhouses you pointed out were the exact ones I was eyeing. Mentions of the pops of color make me happy too. Seeing you get all excited over the honey bee is exactly what I did the other day at the drivers license division. I wish I lived nearby to work with you or at least come and buy the beauties you get in your greenhouses. At least we live in the same growing zone.
Just love watching your channel, very informative! đ
Good morning and thank you for sharing đșđ»đŒđ·đâđ
I love making container arrangements! It's how I get my creativity on.
Great fantastic. Love the unplugged Iâm definitely getting some this spring. I tried salvia last year for the first time because of you guyâs and my goodness. I planted it in a container and it exploded. It grew so huge I had to plant it in the grown. It definitely grew even larger. It was fantastic. Iâm now going to get more for my garden. Thank you so very much for sharing this.đšđŠđšđŠđšđŠ
Well, one thing for sure, planting a container to last all season is generally more cost effective for those who are money conscious. That is something I appreciate đ
Beautiful container! And Iâm I love your pouch for clippersâŠthat would save me so many cuts from keeping them in my pockets!
You are great the way you give out info about the plants or where to get the info:) Iâm in California so unfortunately I wonât be shopping at your place but I will continue to watch and see what you are planting:) tfs :) God Bless:)
You explain things so well, and the container is beautiful! Best wishes from Middle Tennessee!
Thank you so much!
Good morning Creekside family đ oooooh I love the butterfly đŠ houses đŠ
Beautiful container! I hope you guys had a great first day! I hope the line that Jerry cut for trenching fiber wasn't the same day as opening day! What an even bigger headache for him! đŹ
I love the Proven Winners website for all of the information they provide about their plants. LOVE the recipe ideas!!!
Gardening makes me happy! You make me happy! Thank you for your video. You have a great personality and wealth of knowledge. C'mon! God bless â€ïžđđđ
Jenny, I also, keep the plant tags in the back of my planters. That way I don't have to rack my brain trying to remember the names of plants I loved. It definitely makes shopping for them the following year so much easier. ~Margie
So pretty, Jenny! Absolutely love all the annual salvia varieties from PW. đ You make me laugh...love your sweet sass and humor. Have a great opening this wknd. Still very cold and snow covered in 6a MI...
Awesome container planter. Really pretty. All the best this garden season!
Thanks so much!
You are such a wonderful teacher, Jenny. â€
How fun! So great to see containers with color. Excited for your grand opening! đȘŽđș
Jenny, I love the blue pot you chose. The colors of these plants look so pretty in it. Love the bird houses.
Thanks so much! Iâm a sucker for a pretty blue container đ
Me too đ
I ordered a Heartwood bluebird manor birdhouse yesterday.
My Bluebird Manor came and it's truly a high quality product. When I visit Creekside, I'll be purchasing another, possibly one of the other styles and colors, for my back yard. The grey colored Manor will be mounted in my front garden. Happy Bluebirding.
Good morningJenny, hoping you have a Great Opening, looking wonderful as always. đčđ±đđđ
love the container recipe tip and the tags in the pot.
So glad!
I have a GREAT friend that likes to pack them in there! Hahahaha cuz we dont know who that is!!!!! Giggle we love ya both because yall are proof both kinds of gardening produce the same results . BEAUTY!
Good morning Jenny, Great plant combo so fun to start planting with Creekside.
Last year my favorite planter had 1 vermillionair, 2 Lantana and 3 creeping jenny. I will for sure do that combo agin.
So nice to see some flowers!
I really like big ceramic pots! Yes, they are heavy (actually a plus in windy Oklahoma). Yes they are expensive. But in my opinion, worth the investment. Love how your planting turned out. Will keep an eye out in future videos to see how it grows. đđđ
Great combo! The greenhouse is looking awesomeđđđšđŠ
Great tips and info. Let me guess...Laura is your "pack it in there" friend.đ. Love to see more of your pup. Love GSDs!
I am in 4a. I have to wait til may 31st. I usually jump the gun and get a head start, hoping for an earlier frost date (occasionally happens), but mostly end up toting plants in a cold frame every night. It's worth it though!âïžđ±đżđŒđ”ïž
Beautiful container and gorgeous greenhouse.
Morning Southern Friends! đ. Beautiful container Jenny. Thanks so much for the tutorial and all the tips đ„°
Beautiful Ms.Jenny !
I love to decorate with birdhouses in my home?!â Love those!! What will you be selling when you open? Trees, perennials?
Good morning, Jenny!!! I love the beautiful container you just planted up!!! Thanks for sharing the info about the Proven Winners website!!! Canât wait to come see you guys and all of the great changes you guys have made!!!đđžđ
A beautiful container! Cant wait to start doing containers myself! The video can really putt you in mood to be outside we still have snow and wind!
I just love Salvia I planted 3 plants around our flag pole last yr. Omg it took over, wish I could share a photo it was over 4 foot tall! The stalks were huge and very sturdy. The đ and hummingbirds just loved it.
Just love this recipe. Can't wait to see it in July!
Much love â€â€ StL Missouri 6a
Beautiful container, Jenny...never thought about putting a Salvia in a container, great idea!!! đżđș
It depends. Being contained could keep the size in check.
Last year I planted 'Black & Blue' salvia in the ground and they were about chest high (throat high?) on me by late summer.
Jenny, I enjoyed this video so, so much! The bird houses are so adorable, I am going to have to place an order. Too bad they aren't giving you a commission.đ I love your excitement over the honey bee, we feel the same way about them! I look forward to this spring and all the upcoming videos, thank you from MO!
I see at least one salvia in my future. I think the hummingbirds will be very pleased.
Hi Jenny! This is a beautiful combination!! I would love to hear how you water your hanging baskets. You had mentioned in a previous video that you soak them đ
Good and informative show! You made me so anxious for spring and flowers.
Yâall! Those Heartwood birdhouses are so well made & gorgeous! I ordered 3 and canât not brag to you enough on how well made & just beautiful they are (go before they sell out at Creekside!)
I said the same thing last year. I bought plants from you and one of them did so well, I knew I wanted to buy again. I can't find the tag and of course I don't remember the name đ I have a pic of it on my phone from my garden so I'll bring it with me so I can find it. Great info, Thank you!
As long as you have a picture then we can figure it out!
Good morning, Jenny. đIâve got the planting itch! Love PW receipes! Have a Blessed Day đđ
Love this video. Getting inspired for spring planting in another 2.5 months
So pretty!! Thanks for the tips!
Great video; now to inspect my "nice" containers for spring!
Dear Jennyâ„ïž,
Thanks so much for this very inviting and informative video! I feel so much more prepared getting ready for the new season. I hope Iâm able to find the Proven Winners products. The look they provide are optimal! God bless you all in the upcoming season!â„ïž
âI have a great friend who absolutely loves to pack her containers full.â Could that possibly be Laura from GA? đ
Oh I'll remember that ..... oh yes been there done that one many times ... LOL ..... and I do save my little tags ... by the year ... I keep mine in baggies and that shows me how many varieties that I have had per year and may want to use again ..... Hugs
Perfect timing! Iâm planting up our schoolâs outdoor planters and I always need some ideas / motivation. đ». Big HI! from Texas!
Edited to add: Oh darn! I just saw some of the Unplugged at my favorite store but didnât get any. Guess Iâll have to go back tomorrow. LOL
Jenny, how do you manage the recommended fertilizer schedule for your annuals when you get too much rain for an extended period of time? Do you postpone it to let the soil dry out or do you continue with liquid fertilizer regardless?
Great question! Following. :)
Good Morning âïž
New shirt alert!!! Watering can. Scooper. Two scoops and shuzz it up!! đđ€Łđ€Ł
Iâm going to put you in charge of marketing đ
Lordy Lordy,, I just love that dk blue birdhouse at 4:06.
[2] I really like Jerry and Daddy's construction jobs on the tables and the shelves around the posts. Such great work those boys did.
[3] I love Lantana,, and I use to use the flowers for dying fabrics. They are great [as are many plants] for organic dying of fabrics...for quilting.
[4] The PW soil ? That must be new. That isn't the bags of SunGrow I saw you always using in the production area, when potting up the packs of flats from the grower.
[5] What's Jerry's phone number? I'm calling him to tell him Jenny is making a total mess all over his new concrete floor. YIKES! That New floor being junked on with pots, dirt, and plant debris. tsk tsk. Make her clean it up Jerry and ground her for a week!! [smirking]
[6] I can't wait to see the area that you cleaned up by the front sign coming into the drive. Mostly to see how the hosta's are doing after that serious cut back.
Beautiful container love love love your neighbor!
Sherry-Knoxville
Thank youâŁïž
Jenny! I live in Winston-Salem. I love to garden and found your channel last year. Our local nursery- LA Reynolds closed a couple years ago. I plan to visit your nursery SOON. If I want to plant a pot like the one shown here with salvia, then when should I buy the plants from you? Thanks and canât wait to meet you and c load up my car with gorgeous plants from you nursery!!! đ±đŒđȘŽđșđ»
That is very inspirational! This was full of good information. I wonderâŠ. Do most nurseries in your area keep similar schedules as yours? Closed much of the winter, then limited hours in cool months? In California most nurseries are open all year!
Do you sell Creekside merchandise at your nursery like tshirts and hats? If so, will an online option to purchase be available? Thanks for making such a great CZcams channel!
â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžđđ
This was a fun start to my morning! Are you guys going to be shipping plants this year? I have a hard time finding PW plants in my area.
Beautiful planting combination and helpful info on combining plants. Question, were those bat houses laying down across, off to the side from the birdhouses?
Yes they are! They are beautiful!
I was wondering the same thing. We have a lot of bats around our property and I've wanted to place bat houses in our trees. Love your videos.
I have spring fever really bad
Loved the video. Does the pot have a drain hole? Watched as you were watering and couldn't tell.
It does! If it doesnât have a drain hole, I donât plant in it đ
What is the carry case your using for your snippers? Is it for your belt?
April 15th seems so far away but that's ok because I have a lot to do before then đ
How soon should one fertilize the planter once planted ?
I can see a Salvia in my future. I
Can we get an up close of that container?
I love planting containers and I donât stuff them full. I want them to fully grow and not be smashed in.
đđ
We are all a bunch of race cars waiting at the starting line.
I love that analogy!!! đ
is that friend name Laura, cramp these pots aha
Any idea why nobody seems to sell Lantana seeds? đž
Oh I'll remember that! đ That"s me
Doesnât lantana produce a chemical in the air to make other plants not grow properly?
Not that Iâm aware of. Iâve never had an issue growing other plants around lantana.
@@GardeningwithCreekside Thank you for replying! Appreciate your time. Love everything you do.
I made a fall container for the fall and instead it turned into a spring container. Whoops.
