This was amazing Ken thankyou for this. I'm now off on a venture to learn how to set the beat on a wall clock I recently acquired. I also discovered that there's a clock repair shop in my town, because I'm a retiree and have lots of "time" on my hands (pun intended) I'm going to see if they have an apprentice/volunteer opportunity rather than me spending thousands of dollars on tools to support a new hobby....Thanks again Bill (not sure why my profile name doesn't appear)

Nice video! Others recommend using grease on sliding surfaces (pallets, clutch, etc.). What are the advantages or disadvantages to oil versus grease?
I learned that I havent been putting enough oil on the springs.
