Here's what I say to hot new companies that have oodles of work coming in, but they want a big discount on the first one and then will give me lots of work: "Great! I'll charge you FULL PRICE for the first three jobs and then do the 4th job absolutely free". Weirdly they never come back!🤣
Sometimes you have to roll the BUDGET BALL back to the potential client. Once they become consciously aware of cost/proposition value it's really easy to deal with them. "This is what it cost to do this job" How much do you think you should pay is often fallowed up with "I DON'T WANT TO INSULT YOU" that's the insult🤷🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
had a request for a quote for a shoot in HK from the US , I did so ,with flight costs . They replied , hey cant I just drive , Im in Tokyo ,which they knew ... I didn't reply.

For small one off quick videos, if a person can’t afford $1200 they can’t afford $300.
