I would think that Expedition’s independent rear suspension and 4-corner air springs would make the Expedition ride significantly smoother than the Tahoe.
These are all very nit-picky things that wouldn’t be a deal breaker for me. The interior of these GM SUV’s look like 80’s interiors, although I do love the seats and the interior feels higher quality, and I love the iron-block 5.3’s. However, I love the Expedition’s ride height and riding characteristics more. The Expedition’s ride quality is much better with its IRS, and even with IRS, it goes more than enough for most people. I would take either of them though if I could find one with low miles on it. Either an 03-06 Eddie Bauer or an 03-06 Z71 with less than 65,000.
80's looking interior? Ha! Looks more like a 90's interior to me, actually the body style itself looks straight out of the 90's which is fine by me as I love 90's vehicles.

THIS VIDEO IS VERY NIT-PICKY ! My aunt had the 05 expedition EB and it worked like a dream!! She litterally just got ride of it last year!
