401st subs... I've difficulties judging high ball in tennis and soccer, I don't know how to fix it
Thanks for subscribing! Difficulty judging high balls can be due to several issues. Usually, there are issues related to visual abilities on the lower part of the sports vision pyramid - specifically sharpness of vision and depth perception. Have you had a recent exam? We will want to be sure that your vision in each eye is optimal and that you can use both eyes together well, also need to be sure that your eyes are lined up correctly on the target (no wandering/lazy eye). Those are the most common reasons for difficulty judging high balls, there are some other potential issues, but I'd start with these!
@@SportsVisionbyDrLaby I'm using contact for my nearsighted (-2,5 both) correction, but only for sport (using glasses for daily). No lazy eye.
Or maybe fitness levels can effect vision? I feel the more tired the more hard to focus and measure depth
Thanks for your reply Doc
@@techdung5207 Dont think fitness level effects vision, but fatigue certainly can. Need to be sure your prescription is correct and provides maximal vision. I often use dilating drops (cycloplegia) to measure an athletes vision correction as without that you may be "over" corrected - that doesnt give you better vision, just makes it easier to be fatigued due to excessive focus and resulting in blur when tired. Important to have an exam atleast once a year.
