Loving the background birdsongs that accompanied this video. Interesting build process; thanks for sharing this. Wishing you and your spousal unit a great week filled with gentle seasonally appropriate weather and restful evenings. Peace brother

yep, I like it too. Also I like you to keep doing the offcut projects. Because it is more something I also could do/afford in my shop

Thans Pieter...appreciate it. I definitely won't abandon the scrap stuff. Might just not keep going back and forth every video. We'll see.

love these more than the main channel. I think add music, or what im doing is just listening to my own and watching your amazing craftsmanship! keep up the great work and look forward to the next video

I found myself muting the video to stick a classical playlist behind it. Very zen, and somehow it kept syncing up with the music. It might have been the most epic drilling of dominoes I've ever seen with that crash of the brass behind it.

Interesting...I'll mess with some classical to see what it's like.

I may do this with a video for MY channel. It's quite meditative.

@6:50 - ah, the old "epoxy dowel" technique

Any chance you'd make plans for this? I think this is the best furniture I've seen you make so far

I've been considering making a walnut pedestal desk in a traditional style for a while. The modern + brass hardware here just looks fantastic though

Thanks....I don't think we'd ever make plans for it. It's way too big for most people to have, so we'd probably only sell like 10 copies. But I do appreciate that you'd buy one of them :)

@@FoureyesWorkshop As long as the two cabinets are the same, you could adapt the plans to make the top size modifiable so it could be smaller too

It's like those Japanese and Korean woodworking videos where they don't speak because they don't speak English and can't afford a translator. I like it.

It definitely makes putting a video together much easier this way. I like it too
