It is so funny... I'll often have woodworking videos going on my second screen while I write up project proposals and do other work on my main screen, I find it great backgorund noise... but if my next door neighbour had the same tools going, I'd probably lose my mind.
love this concept! I am so used to your voiceovers- I didn't know how it was going to turn out without it (voiceover)!! LOVE IT, I will add this to my morning meditation sessions!!!!
thank you so much
Love the new content! Can't say I like one format better than the other. I love the insights you give, but I also enjoy following the process with no distractions.
Thank you. I still like the regular videos more. But I'm hoping this is a nice alternative for people who don't...or people who don't speak english.
@@FoureyesWorkshop I will be watching both!
Really, really impressive. Woodwork becomes art, so, no need for other
Absolutely stunning!
Thank you so much!
yesssss, this is my dream channel, good quality workmanship and no yakking thank you
you're welcome :)
Loved the video and the process, the edge detail on the bottom of the table works beautifully with the curves in the legs!
Also, noticed the filter you were wearing for spray painting, it is great for dust but isn't designed to protect against VOCs. Be sure to get a cartridge filter if you plan on using your lungs long-term!
Love both channels but this is better when I want to just crawl into a dark corner and relax...ya know.
I hear ya...hoping plenty of people will thin the same.
I love your new channel. I learn a great deal just by watching... so thank you for posting!
You are so welcome! I'm glad you liked it :)
I do enjoy both your regular videos and now these silent ones as well, for those days where you just need less talking. I do have one possible addition you could make to these videos, just some captions for example saying the type of wood (some random points in case someone doesn't watch your main channel). Otherwise keep up the great work!
I really like the new channel, but still prefer the commentary. I will definitely be watching both, as well as Shaun's channel, so yay me... more videos to watch! A toast to your new projects!
Awesome, thank you!
15:08 AHA! the red hues! UwU
I absolutely love the idea of this new channel. As a long time viewer, I'm happy to see how your style evolved over the years. Changing isn't an easy thing to do, especially on CZcams, where I guess you can easily get stuck in a single format. You're trying different things over time and you should be praised for that. As much as I enjoy the videos where you're talking, this style is also really enjoyable. It still has your own style, even without the voice over. The audio quality is really nice, and it's incredible how you make some loud sounds feel really soft and smooth. The only minor issue I had, was the pace, or maybe should I say the speed? Some parts of the videos are sped up, and some part are played at a normal speed. I felt like this "mix" of speeds wasn't working very well. The "sped up" parts gave me the impression to break the "chill" vibe a little bit, if it makes sense. I felt like a complete video at a normal speed would have worked a bit better. Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing more on this channel, along your regular videos. Thank you and good luck with your projects!
Thanks Fred...appreciate the feedback. I'll definitely play with the style of these edits...and that makes sense.
@@FoureyesWorkshop Thank you for your kind words. Happy to be a (small) part of this adventure!
@@FoureyesWorkshop You know what, forget what I said. It was stupid of me to say this. I'm not sure what made me feel it was ok to criticize your new project. You're the creator and you're showing us what you want to show us. My comment was stupid because it was about me expecting something different and kinda complaining about it. It might have been a bad day, but either way, I'm sorry.
Man you should put a voiceover on these explaining what you do :P
might i make a suggestion? when working in the large buckets ever consider putting a vacuum lid on the bucket and degass while in the bucket? that should limit the bubbles introduced into the cracks and reduce the touch up time and the possibility of pockets in the work? either way, beautiful work.
I talked about this in one of my videos. But I've found that the deep pour pretty naturally doesn't have bubbles...and the bubbles actually come from pockets of air (nooks and crannies) within the slabs themsevles. For example...my "extra epoxy form" which is just a rectangle melamine form...no wood....that thing is prestine. Zero bubbles. And the bubbles in my slab projects are always near an edge...never in the middle wide open section. Which kind tells me...the air is coming from within the slab.
So I think to work, you'd actually need to pour the epoxy and then get the entire poured slab into some sort of vacuum....I can't afford that.
@@FoureyesWorkshop ah, that makes sense, a vacuum chamber that big wouldn't be reasonable at all!
i love both styles for different reasons and am gonna continue watching both channels! But i would have preferred a lot more "regular" sounds and less fast forwarding, i want to admire your skill, work, and the process and all the little things that go into crafting beautiful furniture :)
To be honest, I like this content better than voice acting, maybe because I don't understand English well😄 But you should definitely start this channel!
Thank you...and that was kinda what I was hoping for. People who don't speak english can enjoy these more. And the channel is officially started.
Ok...viewd and liked all AND subscribed for future content. Grats on this getting to monetization in like A DAY! Mine is taking FOREVER! But my content is NOWHERE near your quality...something to aspire to for sure.
I'm still not there. I've got the subs, but I had that before launching this channel because this was an old channel I had that was inactive...but gotta get those watch hours still
@@FoureyesWorkshop I should have known YT would be making it harder than it should be. However, I believe you WILL certainly get there with no issues in a very short time.
I only got one question, how many tools you have?
37 and counting
@@FoureyesWorkshop Amazing! Maybe you can have a video about which are the essentials for beginner like me.
Maybe include ASMR into the title instead of silent wood work? Just a small suggestion :)
Not sure how you stay silent all the time; I am mostly talking to myself or swearing when wood working Lol
Why is the form so big seems like a waste of tuck tape, also the bucket of epoxy looked more than half full after the pour 😅😅
