Decades after the fall of the Third Reich, it feels impossible to understand how Adolf Hitler, the tyrant who orchestrated one of the largest genocides in human history, could ever have risen to power in a democratic country. So how did it happen, and could it happen again? Alex Gendler and Anthony Hazard dive into the history and circumstances that allowed Hitler to become Führer of Germany.

This is a good summary, however the role of France and England in forcing war reparations upon Germany - as if Germany were solely responsible for WWI - and redistributing German colonies amongst themselves, should not be ignored.
In contrast, the US President Wilson behaved far more responsibly, refusing to take over German colonies.

not quite... "Sturmabteilung" translates to "Stormdivision or Stormsection". "Sturmtruppen" (the literal translation of Stormtroopers) were actual German units that fought during WW1. They were elite units specifically trained to storm enemy fortifications...hence the name...They were used to great effect on the eastern Front (especially by Generalfeldmarschall August von Mackensen - the famous "Last Hussar") they weren't as effective on the western Front, although Erwin Rommel did break through the French lines at Chemin des Dames with the use of Stormtroopers units and his Royal Württemberg Mountaineer ("Königlich Württembergisches Gebirgskorp") troops... although he eventually had to fall back because his supply lines were in danger, as the rest of the imperial army hadn't been able to keep up...

Why are Trump's supporters so afraid to call themselves fascists? Bernie's supporters were willing to call themselves socialists. Have the courage to own your beliefs.

+Luke V there's really no "true" socialist country just as there are no "true" capitalist country. Canada is considered to be a socialist country by American standard due to our "free" health care, and we have the same living standard as Americans - arguably even better knowing that you don't have to stress if your health fails. Also, how can you argue that Bernie is a fascist when he wants nothing to do with the military? Bernie is not the guy who suggested to bring back water boarding, nor propose to torture and kill civilians associated with terrorists, nor suggest carpet bomb to raze entire cities, nor ban Muslims nor suggest to INTERN them. Bernie is a peace loving tree hugger, arrested in his younger days for a rally he genuinely support. Do you even know what fascism is? Sure, Bernie wants "more" government control, but that's only to allocate the resources of the USA and invest it in healthcare, education and ultimately the American people.

Im commenting this while im watching, just getting to 2:00. So far, i like it because im studying WWI AND II for a subject called Social Studies on my English Teaching degree, and it says almost word by word what the Making History by Christopher Culpin i think his name was, so it very helps me because im tired of just reading it over and over again, thus its great to watch it on video AND which such nice animación!! :)

One thing you can learn from his rise is the following:
If one radical little man can turn millions of people into murderers or supporters of murder... then anyone could turn millions of people into good people too.
    EDIT:
Many here say that being “good“ is harder. That is right. But what if you channel the greed into doing something that doesn't hurt others. Climate action for example. You can say “Hey people, be nice to nature“ no one will care. If you say “Hey people, you'll earn big money investing in this new technology!!! (Oh and btw it is good for the enviroment too)“

Or do you now see how far you are from any LOGICAL conclusion that a video about HITLER would imply or be a narrative of Donald Trump. Are you that desperate to link a mass murder with a presidential personality? And as far as predictions go.... you don't need the simple to show up when any video that depicts a murderer because you can ALWAYS count on the liberal sheep to show up and play victim. Don't bother responding... post is muted.
