The interviewer was very harsh with the women. She had no fault to what happened. Stop repeating history with hatred by attacking bloodlines connected to bad people. I only watched this to write a paper and certain scenes of video I was very disgusted by the interviewers attitude and character.

i was hoping to learn more about the relatives perception on ww2, but i was faced with biased and rude interviewers, which ruined any educational purposes this documentary could possibly have. no one can control what family they’re born in, so it was unfair.

Honestly, this is pretty poor form for documentary film making. They clearly didn't call ahead to several of the people they wanted to interview and they badgered Eva Braun's cousin and that guy who wanted the rights to Mein Kampf. It felt more like guerilla Journalism than documentary film making

This was a poorly conducted documentary. The interviewer caused too many misunderstandings and misleading questions because of the language barrier when talking with the German relatives who didn't speak English. (I say that as a fluent English and German speaker, understanding the spoken responses and intonations of the interviewees.)

Hello to all! I am german and I just saw this "documentary". I must say, it has no historical worth, because the "interviewer" is not able to speak proper german and it occurs, that the people he "interviewed" didn't get his questions. His "questions" don't make sense at all to us germans. He should have used a translator.
This film has only very very small meaning to historical research at all. It's much more a narcistic drama for the interviewer who likes to provoke, manipulate and not investigate.
There are way better documentaries.

Doing a historical documentary requires the documentary itself to be not biased which this on here clearly isn't. The reporter pushes his own narrative and his own believes in the end.

Why is this dude attacking elderly people, while the only ‘crime’ they committed is being related to a mad man? This is not even a little okay.
The dispassionate inconsideration that this interviewer/narrator displays towards these people is just as inhumane as the war criminals he's trying "research". Its despicable how he is manipulating them, and their traumatic experiences, over a past that they had no control over, and provoking even more misery for them. I got as far as 33:00 and had to stop watching. I wouldn't even recommend 5 minutes of this. Leave these poor families alone

Being asked questions by an interviewer is Nothing like what the Nazis did to millions of people. The more comments I've read here, the more I think the world is going insane. Everyone is out to accuse someone of whatever they can think of, especially when they're people in the media, like journalists. We don't know with any certainty whether these relatives of his, or their parents, had anything to do with him, or if they profited in some way before the end of the war. Altogether it does seem very unlikely that the cousin who played the accordion and his family were in any way involved.

It's one of those things where things do not make any sense and thus, certain individuals try to revive the past by dedperately attempting to connect present dots in order to fuel guilt and bend related people ro reenact "control" over them. It's a form of gaining attention/cloud. I am sure the interviewer didn't do it on purpose because he's just naturally imbecilic, so, subconsciously he's aiming to be a "moral high ground" or a "hero" although just in his head.
