  • Uncle Hitler introduces us to the descendants, family members, acquaintances and employees of Adolf Hitler. The documentary focuses on exploring the unknown story of Hitler's family and the dramatic fates of those related to the most hated man in history.
It also explores the genetic history of Eva Braun to determine if Hitler and his wife had any Jewish ancestries, and it establishes the claims that Hitler’s relatives hold to his remaining assets. The film introduces Hitler's living relatives including cousins in Austria, grand-nephews in Germany and New York and his in-laws, including Eva Braun's close cousin, her two sisters and the fates of their respective families and heritage.
Betrayal, murder, conspiracy, physical deformity, incestuous love and robbery are all part of the ongoing tale of the exceptionally dysfunctional Hitler family.

I must say, it has no historical worth, because the "interviewer" is not able to speak proper german and it occurs, that the people he "interviewed" didn't get his questions. His "questions" don't make sense at all to us germans. He should have used a translator.

The dispassionate inconsideration that this interviewer/narrator displays towards these people is just as inhumane as the war criminals he's trying "research". Its despicable how he is manipulating them, and their traumatic experiences, over a past that they had no control over, and provoking even more misery for them. I got as far as 33:00 and had to stop watching. I wouldn't even recommend 5 minutes of this. Leave these poor families alone

How can you compare the interviewer to the perpetrators of the worst crimes in history? They are adults and not obliged to give any interview.Hitlers henchman burnt people alive, gassed millions, starved people to death. So you must think Mengele and the interviewer are at the same level?Do you know that he sewed twins together?Better not to compare the enormity of Hitler's crimes to somebody you don't like

Being asked questions by an interviewer is Nothing like what the Nazis did to millions of people. The more comments I've read here, the more I think the world is going insane. Everyone is out to accuse someone of whatever they can think of, especially when they're people in the media, like journalists. We don't know with any certainty whether these relatives of his, or their parents, had anything to do with him, or if they profited in some way before the end of the war. Altogether it does seem very unlikely that the cousin who played the accordion and his family were in any way involved.

@@NicoleSummerProductionsThis is indeed manipulative. It's one of those things where things do not make any sense and thus, certain individuals try to revive the past by dedperately attempting to connect present dots in order to fuel guilt and bend related people ro reenact "control" over them. It's a form of gaining attention/cloud. I am sure the interviewer didn't do it on purpose because he's just naturally imbecilic, so, subconsciously he's aiming to be a "moral high ground" or a "hero" although just in his head.
