If you've watch the video in full where Ronaldo is being tested they actually explained that his jumping technique is set to move his gravity center higher so he can "suspend" in the air for longer. When he scored that goal he's like gliding through. He jumps way before actually reaching the contact point. All of that possible thanks to his really powerful leg muscles. When I first saw that goal it looked almost funny as he seemed to have bounced off a goomba with the height he achieved.
