As a goalkeeper I justify him cuz he's hasn't proper equipment for legs so when he dives it hurts so much, when I switched to proper equipment my coach literally said that I looked like a pro keeper (maybe not but it was a compliment) cuz I could dive and jump pretty high without getting hurt

I think this isn't only a testament to how hard the saves were, but how difficult it must have been for the shooter to put it on target in such a way to force the keeper into a save. Considering for half of these you had like 30 attempts.

yeah, i think people who play football/soccer should actually have atleast been a goalkeeper once. because the feeling of keeping a goal out is awesome. Especially when you saved a really difficult one or an important one. that feeling is why i never stopped being a goalkeeper.
The saves are difficult but it also depends on the situation and how you react in game! Usually the adrenaline of the game help keepers make outrageous saves
Yeah especially the penalty save and the David Seaman save. Those I think are almost impossible to recreate no matter who you are because so much of the actual save relies on reactions. So trying to accurately recreate it means you have to actually forget what you set out to do and just hope it works.
Some of these saves you can't replicate because you already know where the ball is going, and that's really what makes each save so great, like the penalty one.
Disclamer: dont listen to modern goalkeeping when trying to train he uses training that you would use and even broke a kids wrist for doing this dont try it u wont get better

ok, as an old goalkeeper back in the 1980s...i really enjoyed this. tickle me a lot! back in those days we seem to be more agile, held onto shots more, came out for crosses more, hardly use our feet to save, dived at forwards' feet to smother the ball
Kieran is just like me when I started as a keeper. He’s too scared to commit. You can see at least 1 of his feet only leave the ground for less than half a second

Best advice I can give you and I see it when you dive for a save. Don’t be afraid to dive and fall. Obviously try to land as safe as possible but don’t be afraid

As A GK myself I can tell you one thing, You are not committing yourself to the jumps. The plain reason is: it is not a match and there is no motivation for you to jump and risk injury. But in matches, we have to really commit to those jumps and saves. 5:17 you want to recreate, but you know where the shot is coming so you are not jumping full heartedly. You know you want to save by kicking, but that was mid-jump, try-hard, you might get there one day.

Im a keeper it is tough at times but if you have the correct training and work hard it is easier but you cant save every shot
