  • Hello again! So in this tutorial I'm going to show you how to create procedurally generated patterns, and use those to drive materials. All within the Redshift Shader Graph. We'll be using some MAXON Noise and C4D Shader nodes along with a few fundamental Redshift nodes. Hope you all enjoy!

    You make awesome videos - I just started with c4d/rs this summer, but already I'm already pretty far along with understanding what's possible & generating my own scenes.. thanks largely in part to your resources. Keep up the great work!

    For folks looking for the C4D Shader - you can use the 'Tiles' node for patterns

    So cool! Thanks! But how did you animate it?

    Super Tutorial Merci Beaucoup , est ce que vous pouvez nous donner plus de détails par rapport a l'animation ?

    I did the particular tutorial and appears in the down left render view corner a red dot with the indication "Material RS Material is not valid" do you know what is that note and why appears there;
    Im looking forward you will have more tutorials on Redshift like this one.

    How I can do this in C4D 2023?
    No C4D shader in the node view. Texture node has no input (for tiling a gradient).

    In the actual Redshift it seems that there is no C4D Shader anymore ;( … i often uses the checkerboard back than.
    Does someone know, how I can use that C4D Shaders nowerdays?

    Do you think you can get as realistic looks in Redshift as you do in Octane?

      100% yes. Infact, I think you can acheive better results with redshift, with shorter render times (if you know what you're doing). I used to use octane, but since switching over to redshift, I wouldn't go back. Think of Redshift as photoshop, and octane as instagram filter.

      @@TheRooksNest That is a powerful analogy wow. I never got 100% comfortable in Photoshop, I just didn't use it enough. It's one of those things I keep meaning to hone in on more. But I get what you're saying, hopefully you'll have more great tutorials on Redshift* like this one! Thanks for the response!
