Looks like LA Metro Rail Siemens P2000 car 243 still has its original black and white yellow jacket livery with its old front end beams (used to hold yellow paddles as between car barriers). That unit originally ran the Gold Line (L Line) since 2003. In 2007, the P2000 unit got into a fiery crash with a car near Highland Park station. The burned unit was rebuilt, which started running the Green Line (C Line) from there. Not only does that unit still have its original livery, but it's also "unrehabbed" as well as it still carries the old inverter sounds and low tone announcement chimes inside.

Wow never thought I’d see a train I refurbished on CZcams lol
honestly the p2000 are my fav
They have to put the rehab with the non rehab train
At 3:15 is this a KinkiSharyo P3010 Car 1144 with the old seats?
Yuo
@PACman973 Its weird how the P3010s get the newer seats before the other trains and how THIS p3010 gets the old seats.
Is that why I saw one of these on Mare Island (in Vallejo)? I thought it was for scrap!
Can refurbishment siemen train go on A,C,E and k lines?
They will once all of them get Refurbished
Breda p2550 are still superior and better quality than the p2000
@@theghostofmrcow1985 Next year the new heavy rail CRRC HR4000 trains will go to the Purple line extension.
@@SuperheroJuniorYou should live so long.
@@theghostofmrcow1985 The Breda P2550 cars are getting ready for a major overhaul.
Norwalk station
It's time for L.A. Metro Rail to get moving and replace the red and purple line subway cars. They're over 30 years old and time for the scrap heap.
I think they're talking about that. And having color-coded cars for the lines too.
Also, if you think 30 is old, imagine BART (50+!).
Bro 30 is not old 50 yes
