      Maybe seen from the point of view of DC"s world superman is a tyrant but in all honesty, we humains need some one like superman, that is pure justice and that is what we need, fuck the no killing murderes bullshit, if Batman killed joker after at least giving him only one chance we wont be going to such extent. The world under superman is better than the world under a justice league that does not do what needs to be done. imagine you live in a city where crime rate is at the top and that your whole family was tortured and burnt alive by some guy, Do you want superman who will kill him and put fear in the hearths of all the criminals or do you want batman whol beat his ass, put him in jail and ooops he got out and now is on a killing spree again.

    • @seabo4553
      @seabo4553 Před 6 lety +49

      Amir Ayt Batman doesn't kill. He's just putting criminals to justice. Because even if hr wants to lessen the criminals one by one, it wouldn't lessen. Because when you kill a murderer, aren't you a murderer also? Yes, I know it's for justice but what will people think of Batman if he kills? The people wouldn't want Batman in the city and whilst the Joker will be happy that no Batsy will destroy his plans nor his friends.

      No. You're no "murderer" when you kill a murderer. You're executing a person who murdered an innocent person. That's true justice. It has harsh penalty and it will project fear among other would be murderers from committing murders since they know the penalty for murder is their own lives...and not some lame jail sentence with a free roof under their head with 2 times a day meal. The current justice system is a joke. In a way, its almost rewarding murderers and criminals.

    An easy solution would be that the metropolis and gotham governments should just have the death penalty in the first place. Batman would hand the joker over to police for his crimes and the courts of law would have already given the Joker the death penalty. If he was dead before Lois got killed this could've been avoided.

    • @TecnoTyler
      @TecnoTyler Před 5 lety +102

    • @YukonHexsun
      @YukonHexsun Před 5 lety +90

      @Sir Meme Yeah, I'm pretty much always anti-death penalty. But with a person like the Joker who consistently breaks out and kills people, and has done so many times, the answer is clear. There are criminals who sometimes benefit everyone in important ways, Lex Luthor has done good things for instance. But the Joker... the Joker needs to go. Along with a few others. What someone needs to do is push the US government to become more involved in protecting itself, and by that I do not mean creating yet another superhero team, especially the Suicide Squad. Execute chronic and non-containable super villains beyond redemption, and get started on making everyday humans less weak. Transhumanism stuff, so the human race can take more of a beating, since it's always getting hit with some kind of cosmic bullshit/army/super villain coming to destroy/steal/enslave earth.

    The funniest part about this is when Clark said “I could’ve killed you years ago,” like the entire Injustice comic wasn’t him fumbling around killing every superhero except for Batman. Also, did he break Hal’s ring? When he shatters his hand, there’s a cracking sound just as his ring goes dark. If so, that’s the second Superman to break one of Hal’s rings in Injustice. The other world’s Superman shattered his Yellow ring in the first game.

Now that I know the cities were saved and restored however, I don't really see any problem with the Regime (besides the fact that Superman basically murdered Shazam). I think the Regime is the best way forward, however Superman's impulsiveness and fear, as represented in the two examples above, are the greatest factors that undermine it.

      I still think that all of this happened because of Batman... It was HIS fault for not having the guts to kill the Joker despite the dangerous psychopath he is... Yes... I'm totally saying It was all Batman's fault. Especially when he's trying to be god (psychologically I mean) by saying: "If you kill you'nre not better than the one who killed my parents ! I'm involving MY PARENTS ! How can I be wrong !?!?!"
      This Batman is stupid enough to think that just killing someone is making you someone bad, when it's actually the intentions you have behind the kill that made you what you are... Example:
      When Superman killed Doomsday (not especially in the Injustice universe), he was a hero because he wanted to save people to prevent a planet sized genocide. Because that's totally what would have happened if he'd let Doomsday live ...
      When he killed the Joker (in the Injustice universe this time) he was a victim who camed for revenge...
      BUT he was just a killer when he killed SHAZAM for disobeying him and disrespecting him (SHAZAM was right on the moment but you know what I mean is not it?).
      But for Batman a kill is just a kill no matter what you lived *BEFORE* and what you'll do *AFTER*.
      I mean, I'm sure that everyone agree on the fact that, if we learn on the info that a guy (I'm inventing everything from now on) just murdered a bunch of young people in the street. We would say that this guy deserve a death sentence and/ or jail forever right ?
      But if we learn that the guy was a father that killed those 3 young bastards that raped and killed his daughter hmm ? Would you blame him this time ?
      Real question...

      Both sides have a point. Guys like the Joker, Zsasz and other villains (like Brainiac) are individuals who must be killed and disposed of, as they harm countless innocent people. But random generic villains, shouldn't be. Basically, if you're an outright evil individual who has killed countless people (like Zsasz or Penguin) or a supervillain (like Joker, Brainiac and others), then you should be executed. People who commit random acts of crime, are one time offenders, or show genuine remorse shouldn't be executed. Even then, the extent of your crime should also be taken into account. (Murderers, rapists and individuals of that kind should be executed. While people who perform things like theft and assault shouldn't be murdered unless they ruined countless lives and or harmed countless lives. Basically, the 2-3 strike policy and IF you're without a doubt guilty.

Could it be, that the fear toxin never left Superman's systems and is still affecting his mind by repeatedly showing him his failures?

      In a flashback from the comics where Batman scolds Superman for not taking seriously, his sparring against Wonder Woman. Superman told Batman that "there's a darkness in you that I will never understand Bruce." That's the real Superman talking, not the one who sets himself up as a dictator.

    I like how the only way they could make Batman's "let's not kill Super Villains, who keep breaking out and killing, cause killing people who really clearly deserve it (and the killing of whom would save countless potential lives) cause reasons" argument hold up was to make superman go from "he's harsh but he has a point" to "ubermechasatanhitler". god forbid people actually see both points portrayed evenly and make their own decision on whether they'd prefer freedom at the cost of safety, or Safety at the cost of Freedom. hell, could have made them equally terrible, that'd be a laugh. superman goes all Brainyman in his ending, and in Batman's all the Villains come out of the woodwork and slaughter the weakened heroes, burning the world as they go. maybe that'd help people make the "how bout we just do what's right depending on the context of the situation and not apply one mentality to everything?" IE, someone like the Joker? execution. small time scrub like Boomerang? imprisonment. yknow, the middle-of-the-road choice, that thing nobody seems to know exists.

One of them is conquering and ethnically cleansing people on other planets, but an inevitability is the ethnic cleansing of Earth to replace the people with Kryptonians. They would already be so much more powerful than the humans... they would dominate them and subjugate them at the very least until they decide they are more of a strain on resources than they are worth.

      Its an utopian dream, having a permanent peace overshadowed by the fact that an Almighty overlord would squish you like a bug if it suits HIS narrative of morality. You have no say to what actually is right or wrong, all you have to do now is to surrender yourself to the mercy of an entity who dictates morality suited to its selfish needs while disregarding what really must be done.
      An individual is not the law, he's not a judge jury and executioner, an individual is merely a part of the society that collectively makes a decision. And no individual who goes above and beyond the premise of the society can decide fairly what's right and wrong. It's been a while since this game first came out, but I still hold the same stance on this issue. No matter how many times I see this ending, I ultimately agree with it. Yeah, Superman does go pretty damn far with his methods, but if Earth's fate was to be left in the hands of either him or Batman, I'd still go with Superman.
    At least Superman would get shit done. He'd get those collected worlds back and build an army that'll make damn sure that nobody would ever be able to fuck with us like Brainiac did again.
    And Batman? The fact that he's willing to let untold numbers of people get killed and maimed (and even do some of the maiming himself) just to avoid ever killing anybody himself (to say nothing of him imposing that rule on his allies) alone just goes to show that we'll NEVER be safe under his watch.
    He might actually do some real good under Superman's control.
