That's about that literal street-level trash is capable of taking down with just regular guns heroes that would solo them and won't even notice, but aren't doing so only because of thick af plot armor. It feels just mean spirited to showcase the justice league in such a positive light and then to treat them as the irredeemable villians when they are under mind control! The league are just as much victims of Brainiac as everyone else if not more but the game never acknowledged that.

So they didn't give as a Superman video game but instead gave another evil Superman and made him an antagonist only to be killed plus they've also killed the greatest Batman.
Please know the story goes that Rocksteady pitched a superman game that was already partially in development after Arkham Knight, but I think Warner Bros, or the powers that be, whoever they are didn't like it and told them to work on something new. This is that new thing.

I get the feeling Superman didn't get as much scenes as the other Leaguers because even the developers thought evil Superman was overdone at this point compared to Flash, GL, and Batman.
Simple change have him still be a hero(as well as Batman cause Worlds Finest) and have the other leaguers be the villains and have maybe other leaguers like Aquaman and Martian Manhunter

Nah the main idea of Suicide Squad is that they are a bunch of low tier villains who are taken from prison by the government to do some dirty work for them.
The Justice League's actual opposite number is the Legion of Doom consisting of Lex Luthor, Joker, Gorilla Grodd, Sinestro, Cheetah, Reverse Flash, and other heavy hitters. These guys can't ever be turned by the government into a task force to do their bidding
Of course the Suicide Squad is far below the level of the Justice League which is why this game relies heavily on plot armor.

can you imagine the flash boss fight being reverse flash vs flash as they race across the arena, with reverse flash occasionally holding him down so the league can get their hits in
This makes me so sad lol. If we got these SAME personalities and designs for a proper Justice League central game set in the Arkhamverse it could have been awesome. Imagine being able to swap between all the members and approach missions differently

On the upside- well have Nolan voicing him when they undo his death, and hes my first pick for a full fledged Superman game so when we hopefully get a game in the future well already have a solid lead. They actually did a really good job with the Leagues charcterizations and personalites so Im willing to give Rocksteady another chance after this game is done

Ok, honestly I like this version of Superman. Nolan north is good, his design is great, he's menacing and ruthless with a lil bit of charming. But why, why, why, why, why is he only in the game for this long? Seriously could've used him more throughout the game, like taking over Batman's spot leading Brainiacs army and hearing him on the coms. Even that would've made him better. Oh, well. Like he says, "one of the worlds finest heroes, snuffed out by this".
Superman is supposed to be voiced by his DCAU actor in the Arkhamverse.

So people are saying that Superman could’ve killed them then and there but I have a different problem. In king shark’s character trailer they say he is one of the few people who can go toe to toe with Superman. Here’s my question if that’s the case why bother using a gun? Hell go help Wonder Woman out if you are that strong. That statement alone means King Shark could likely take down the other members of the league(except for flash). What’s the point of having other characters there if King Shark is that powerful? Also with Boomer you are a speedster now go help out Wonder Woman for Christ sake. Being a speedster alone makes you incredibly powerful he could’ve helped along with King Shark. Imagine King Shark, Wonder Woman and Boomer jumping Superman

For how much people are hating this game i feel tge need to point out how instead of throwing the nuke at metropolis, when seeing WW superman immediately flew into the atmosphere with the nuke like for that split second seeing ww for the first time in idk how long he did what came naturally to him, and saved everyone from a fucking nuke, if only batman had gotten a moment like that.
My theory is that Batman had been brainwashed the longest so his corruption had taken full effect. Same with Green Lantern. Brainiac probably had to do a process with Superman due to his willpower. Even Flash who was recently brainwashed showed signs of resisting

Superman is good character model i think they nailed the evil Superman… But its Evil Superman.. Im tired of that story.. Wonder Woman was great. Evil Flash was great.. GL Stewert was great because i need more John Stewart content..

The plot is basically Brainiac rewrote supermans DNA in a way to be resistant to green kyrptonite while gold kyptonite which is supposed to permanently depower superman only weakens him absolute stupid plot armor
In terms of the plans executed to kill each Justice League member, with the exception of Batman, I don’t really mind the plans.

Like they didn’t have entire arcs of the game of them finding specific weapons to fight each league member.
BUT that said, I felt like Superman didn’t have much to do in the story. Everyone has some rivalry with someone that lets the league get fleshed out as villains, but Superman just kind of exists which is a damn shame since the events of this game are mostly his fault according to audio logs
Yeah it for sure leaves a weird taste in my mouth with how Superman is at fault lol and he gets very little screen time so we know nothing which seems intentional? He’s in and out of the game so quickly.
What also don't makes sense is that Brainiac destroyed kyrpton and superman knows this yet they decide to go into his ship in a friendly way anyways? The most ridiculous thing about this game is the fact that literally every single boss (Superman, Flash, Lantern and Batman) not only could've killed them all with ease, but actually had them all dead to rights and let them live. Flash could've ripped out their hearts along with Lex's. Green Lantern could've just lifted them up miles in the sky and dropped them when he had them encircled. Batman could've just killed them as soon as he knocked them out. And Superman...is well...Superman. And yet, none of them killed them even though they're brainwashed to exterminate the entire human race. It's silly.
