How to build a privacy screen | STIHL DIY

A privacy screen is not only pretty and practical bur it transforms your terrace into your personal retreat. Even better when you create it yourself. With our tutorial, you can easily realize this project in your own garden.

Material needed:
For the frame:
- 4x square timbers of larch/douglas fir approx. 50 x 30 mm of which 2 x 180 cm, 2 x 140.5 cm long
- 5x round timbers, e.g. broomsticks 2.2 cm thick, 140 cm long
- Branches, e.g. bamboo poles, hazel/willow rods 0.5-1 cm thick, 2 m long
- Screws 3 x 45 mm
For the stand:
- 10x frame wood of larch/douglas fir approx. 60 x 40 mm on 4.7 m incl. offcuts, of which 2 x 65 cm, 4 x 35 cm, 4 x 42.5 cm (sawn to 45° degrees)
- Screws 4 x 50 mm
- Pencil
Required tools:
- STIHL GTA 26
- STIHL MSA 140 C
- STIHL PB 10
- Cordless screwdriver
- Wood drill set
- Forstner bit or flat milling bit 22 mm
- Rubber mallet
- Safety goggles, gloves, cut protection trousers, cut protection boots

Most bamboo is considered an invasive species.
That's why the council's destroy it as well as willow's NOT ONLY THAT!
They also do it with the hope's it raises local spendings on overpriced gimmicks by big brand's....
