for longer term durability, you want to spray the boards on all 6 sides before assembly so you get the wood fully covered on every side and end. If you dont water will work its way in and expand and contract the wood at different rates, cause warping and splitting etc.
exactly my thought
Great project that’s easy and looks really good! Few suggestions for others: Use pressure treated lumber, spray the boards before assembly so moisture can’t find the way to the wood, and cap or seal the end grains for long term moisture protection.
with PT lumber, do you have to wait a couple weeks to it to dry out before staining?
@@conradcoolerfiend If it stored dry (inside) no. Also suggest selecting a UV restraint sealer after staining like one from TotalBoat.
Great project and looks great. One thing you might want to consider is to add either a pressure treated sill plate or add some rubberized feet to the fence posts since you have unprotected wood with ground contact.
Love the look of the fence has a modern feel and does the job it was made for. Great job!
Hi, Stefani, I love your channel. Continued success to you and your channel. You are changing the game of each video in a great way.
This is such a great idea and easy solution! Nice work with your Wagner sprayer!
love your diy projects Stefani, they are very inspirational
Love this! Turned out amazing ☺️☺️
Looks great! You do the best projects😃
Nice! It's quite satisfying seeing paint sprayed on. :)
Great video and tutorial, thanks from London England 👍❤️💪😎🏴
As always, it is a good job and it is very pleasant to watch... 😘😍
Hi Stefani,
Nice clean job well done 👍🏼
Nice. Something like this would also work perfect for an A/C unit screen.
BEAUTIFUL WORK ESPECIALLY PAINT SPRAY
Excellent work 😊👍
That looks so good!
You are amazing, I’m inspired.
Great work!!!
excellent work keep it up👍😊
Looks great. Was wondering if you did one or two coats of the paint. I have always been intimidated by paint sprayers. Am now reconsidering. Also ordered my Kove speakers. Posted it on FB because it was such a wonderful deal. Will let you know how I like them. Thanks for sharing. 👍
Great job
Garbage can/dumpster privacy screens should be in the building codes. Nothing is more unsightly than trash cans.
Wow!
Good job
Sweet Steph, squat… don use your back to pull the weeds… much better for you back… great job in all you do. Love the contrast with the white.
looks great, would you recommend fastening one of the sides to something .... especially for those windy days.
Nice privacy fence! The concrete needs a good power wash and the trees need some trimming. Those are good projects for the fall
I had to look away every time your hand was so close to the saw blade. beautiful job!
Hi did u calculate how many slats you were going to need ? How did u do it?
Your more capable then me ! 😊
Yup
Is the spray easy to clean and does it use air compressor or electricity outlet
Another nice project. With our HOA, certainly something we need to do, hid the bins.
Curious, since it is outdoor wood, don't you have to wait, before you can paint it? I do not want to have to wait; probably why I did not consider using wood.
she used regular 2x4's, not pressure treated ones.
i would say cut the bottom part of right post of the section you open to put the cans in, and screw in a castor wheel so you can easily open and close without having to adjust the rest of the fence everytime
Well done, saved it for further reference. Thank you very much. 👍👍👍. 8-29-21
😍😍
👍
This will get blown by the wind lol
Great job but you can still see through it so maybe call it 1/2 or partial privacy screen project?
It is called “privacy screen” for the mere purpose of NOT exposing completely any stuff that you want to cover.
Lol! I felt like she could have weed eat those cracks in the drive way
How much did it end up costing?
Stephanie, how much did you spend for this project?… and what kind of wood did you use, I live in California
Yes I would like to know price too💝
So no answer on estimate?
💖💖💖💖💖👍🏻👍🏻
Idk how the 3 pieces can be free standing without falling over. The legs aren't that thick
I have the feeling that the summary at the first of is the video is kind of spoiler..
I think 1 screw would of been totally fine. and plenty strong.
You cleaned the weeds away but did nothing with that area. Why not put down some landscaping fabric and mulch or stones or something!
She most likely will, all things take time and money.
