Don Jazzy should have his own TEDx talk, if he hasn't already. He's so inspiring. 🔥🔥
I sleep dreaming about Don Jazzy, You are really shaping my journey and inspire me a lot. Having you as a mentor would really be the greatest wish God can grant me
I love listening to Don Jazzy, he is so good with conversations. His thought process and sense of humor just makes him easily likeable. I'm glad he has good pple around him, I pray it stays that way.
When i see a Don Jazzy interview even if it's a 3hrs i click and watch it all. No way on earth i watch anyone in a long interview. Love his sincerity, humbleness and realness.
I Concur 👍🏾
His humility is both convicting and Inspiring at the same time. God bless him!
One hour in and Joey is asking really good questions. He's also a great listener. I even like the way he transitions from music to personal questions to even adding his own perspective. Excellent work, so happy I came across this.
Thanks for listening
This is more than an interview, it’s a tutorial with a lot of key points. Kudos to Joey for this one. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
I remember back in the day, the way you knew you were close to school was you saw the name Don Jazzy on the water tank high in the sky. It was also spray painted on the floor around the hostel area. Somehow this dude knew he was going to be something! Congrats DOn Jazzy!
This was no interview! This was a beautiful conversation👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Uncle Joey always asking the right questions!!!It’s very safe to say Don Jazzy is a blessing to our Music community👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Ha. Love this man😂, he's funny, witty & humble. I truly celebrate him.
This Jazzy Interview is quite different from the other Jazzy interviews I have watched. Quite unique in fact and that's cos Joey is very musically intelligent so his questions were very in depth and not the regular 'how was your childhood'.

Great sit down conversation with good nuggets from Don Jazzy
A lot to be learnt don thanks
The Goat 🐐
I found it difficult to enjoy your part of the interview (the questioning). Each time you spoke, I cringed. For an interview that is this up-close and personal, I expected that your tone of voice would be more empathic and relaxing.
You seemed eager to ask the questions than really listening to what he had to say (I feel alot of detail was lost in the process)
For this type of interview, you sounded too proper to get the best out of an already willing and open Jazzy. You were too careful with your articulations as well.
Jazzy is a legend in the industry. He's had very few interviews. This could have been alot better. I hope the subsequent episodes are.
I admire your work Joey
You have said it all.
Thanks man. I appreciate. I'm not trained in this. Learning on the job. 🙏🏽
Joey, I am thrilled to see that you took this as constructive feedback. Great job.
the instances don baba is giving are funny & 100% truee 😂😂
Enjoyed the interview watching from Uganda.
Hey, bro if you can read this keep going! lovely content!
Your channel is really inspiring. Love the formate. Love your question.
An interview among every other thing is judged on how ell its engaging. This was vert engaging and i watched it while driving, you can imagine
nice the most brilliant interview kudos very Educative
back in the day it was called "programming beats" or "sequencing", only much later did people refer to it as music production. Then you'd save the "programmed beats" on a floppy diskette....just an early storage device similar to flash drives today.
And to help others .well done
Great interview - invaluable insights and gems all through. Next, please interview Olamide.
Oga allow him to answer one question finish .......which one is you were called Michael then ??....❣️Love this.....Live Forever Don Jazzy !! ❣️❣️
Chaii! These guys finished that bottle of whiskey 🥃!

I enjoyed watching the podcast 🎊
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hey bro am a fan..but try to work on the way you ask questions..in this interview you ask one question over and over again..
Very interesting interview. At first I was skeptical to watch cause it's two hours long, then I checked about two snippets you uploaded then I watched. I think you should cut more interesting parts of this video and upload, like two minutes or three. To get more people attention to watch. You just got a sub. Thanks for this interview, it's helpful.
Shayo 😂 "you'll miss the routine" 😂
I don't understand the people saying you, joey was being too pushy... Schooling you on how to interview.. that's crazy! You did a great job and earned my subscription.... You are different... Love it👏👏👏👏
Thanks so much!!!
That's Rodecaster pro audio interface... and the quality of the sound....ahhhh. I can't wait to have mine and get my podcast running too... Who wants to partner... I can share my shows concept .... I know you'll be interested...

Joey Akan Keep Shinning.
Always wondering where the AKAN name is from cos its a ghanaian tribe
Was Don Jazzy really sweating or he's just showing us the white towel? 🤣😂🤣😂😂
Gistlover 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
On the topic of good music and what fans want : i think there's music for every mood. People spend on avg 30 hours a week clubbing (if you factor friday and saturday and select week days) and there's about 168 hours in a week. They probably won't listen to those same songs as much at their other times. Bad moods. Good moods. Slow day. Whatever. I think there's music for everyone right now and your song not being played in a club doesn't mean much in the real scheme of things. I don't fully agree with Don Jazzy here.
like it or not, dance music is the most dominant in Nigeria. South Africa is even better at balancing Dance, hip hop & R&B music. Don isn't just saying his opinion, it's something that's been tested and proven overtime. doesn't mean other music doesn't havr their audience but Dance is just the main thing.
Joey no mention ybnl
Boss Don jazzy, i seek just for a chance, to give my freestyle,if i can be invited to any studio, i have got it Boss, the way it is for, if am giving a chance and i fail, lock me up please i have the talent
Nice podcast. Joey should be a bit more natural with his questions. It seemed like he was patronizing Don Jazzy at some point.
I think it’s understandable, He has respect for jazzy and even said jazzy made the soundtrack for his teenage years. Jazzy’s way of answering the questions with honesty covered up though, but yeah I agree that Joey wasn’t as inquisitive as he would naturally be.
I'm just glad he asked the right questions.
Is don jazzy shading WIZKID , OLD OS LOL
Joey wouldn’t pick my call
If you did not smile all through, you're a sadist
Bro How can you GET AN OPPURTUNITY WITH DON JAZZY AND YOU ARE FREESTYLING QUESTIONS ?? YOU ARE NOT EVEN ASKING THE RIGHT QUSTIONS ,,Some body take that drink from him !! 🤣🤣
