Jamaican Sorrel

Jamaican sorrel is a delicious drink made with dried hibiscus flowers, ginger, and sugar. Sorry, no exact measurements. I used a 5 qt pot and a 5 oz bag of "jamaica" - a fairly large piece of ginger, and a cup of sugar. Strain the sorrel before you add the sugar. I use a strainer and cheesecloth to make sure I strain it all. Delicious served with ice and spicy Jamaican food!
